Tess Foster

A typical teen, Tess loves clothes, boys, friends, and fun! But Tess’s typical teendom is sometimes complicated by her testosterone-filled household. Luckily, she’s got her best friend Allie to go to when she needs some girl power!  Self-confident, outgoing, and funny, Tess’s life is a never-ending series of embarrassing moments, but she can survive almost anything with Allie’s help.

Allie Brooks

Allie is Tess's best friend, but they couldn't be more different. Allie is the ultimate girly-girl, a bright and popular cheerleader who is obsessed with makeup and fashion. She’s a fixture at the Foster household, despite never quite understanding how Tess can survive life in a house full of boys.

Sam Foster

Definitely not a “cool” kid, Sam is Tess’ twin brother who less successful with the girls than his older brother Gabe. He’s very smart, studious, and is confident in his own quirkiness.

Gabe Foster

The oldest of the Foster siblings, Gabe is a 16 year-old heartthrob who loves shelling out girl advice to his younger brothers. He loves music and writing his own songs, but can sometimes get struck down by stage fright.

Spencer Foster

The youngest of the Foster clan, nine year-old Spencer is precocious scary-smart, and uses these tools to his advantage. His older brother Gabe is his idol, and he always seeks out his advice!

Jack Foster

Tess’s dad Jack doesn’t know much about being a girl, but he means well and manages to get by with his own unique brand of parenting. As vice-principal of his kids’ school, Jack gets way more involved in their private lives than they’d like him to be!
