Bastion Misawa
his smart and calculated dueling style easily earns him the highest grades in the freshmen applicant class! He can find an opponent’s weaknesses and exploit them to his advantage. His dueling style is almost the exact opposite of Jaden’s – while Misawa relies on rational methods, Jaden relies on instinct.
Syrus Truesdale
is a very modest duelist, who struggles with his classes. He is Jaden’s roommate, and the younger brother of Zane – the top student in the school.

Chumley Huffington

Chazz is a clever and highly-prospected freshman who was immediately placed into the highest-ranked Obelisk Blue dormitory. He believes that dueling is for the elite – not for the rabble-rousing low-scoring untalented masses
