Yugi
Yugi was born to play duel monsters. His secret talent, bestowed by an ancient Egyptian puzzle, enables him to be the best duelist there is. This comes in handy when his friends need his help to defeat the various evil dualists that exist in the Shadow Game.

Yami Yugi
When the millennium puzzle activates, Yugi is filled with its magical energies and becomes Yami Yugi, his much more powerful alter ego.

Joey
Once a wild and tough street kid, Joey learned the value of friendship to become Yugi’s loyal buddy. Although Joey's harsh street background can make him hotheaded and rash, he has a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends, especially his younger sister.

Tristan Taylor
Sometimes Tristan is quick to panic, but when it comes down to it, he is willing to do whatever it takes to support and cheer on his friends.

Tea Gardner
Tea is the voice of reason. A childhood friend of Yugi, she also is the group’s biggest cheerleader, always encouraging everyone to believe in themselves and to never give up.

Seto Kaiba
Kaiba is a wealthy CEO, but his real passion lies in Duel Monsters. He uses his ruthless business drive to overcome any who challenge him. He is an expert in the art of dueling.

Grandpa
Yugi’s grandpa own the neighbourhood shop, but he use to be a world traveler. He knows everything there is to know about games and he teaches Yugi about believing in the “heart of the cards.”

Mai Valentine
Mai is as pretty as she is dangerous. She’s one of the top duelists in the world and fights for the riches that await only the best. Posh and frequently self-absorbed, Mai is not above using her charm to advance her situation.
