Fergy Fudgehog (Hedgehog)
is a piñata with a big urge to eat and an even bigger urge to run away from Piñata Island. Piñata Central is always trying to catch him and ship him off to a party, but he always seems to dodge the lasso.
Paulie Pretztail (Fox)
is Fergy’s best friend, and the savvier of the comedic duo. When Fergy has a problem, Paulie is always ready with a “brilliant” hair-brained scheme to help out. He often finds himself looking out for his friends who seem to be a little more naïve than him. And very much like Fergy, Paulie has no desire to be sent off to a party.
Franklin Fizzlybear (Bear)
is a big ball of fun! He loves surfing, new adventures and is gung-ho about being sent off to a party. But, Franklin’s not the brightest bulb in the box. While he’s always there for friends, there’s just not that much “there” there.
Hudson Horstachio (Horse)
is a famous celebrity on Piñata Island. Always in demand and frequently double-booked, Hudson is by far one of the most popular Piñatas in the biz. But, unlike many celebrities, Hudson hasn’t let the fame go to his head. He still loves his friends and loves to dance!
Tina & Teddington Twingersnap (Two-Headed Snake)
the only thing these two have in common is the body they share - that and a love-hate relationship with each other. Tina is the more down-to-earth and adventurous one of the two, while Teddington considers himself a member of the upper crust elite. They are handy to have around on what Paulie calls ‘stealth missions’ -- except for one problem: they’re always bickering!
Ella Elephanilla (Elephant)
is the most forgetful elephant on earth. She can’t remember what she ate for lunch, or the conversation she just had. Her two favourite things are peanuts and dancing ballet - now, if only she could remember where she put her ballet shoes…
Les Galagoogoo (Bush Baby)
is the most intelligent character in the entire garden, and the only one who truly understands what Piñata Central is all about. Problem is… he never utters a word. He only talks in strange hoots and sighs, and so no one ever understands him. To add to his mystique he also has ninja fighting skills and the ability to leap great distances in a single bound.
Langston lickatoad (Frog)
is the official representative for Piñata Central. There are lots of parties out there in the world just waiting for a fun, candy-filled piñata, and it’s his job to see that they get there. Of course, with Fergy and Paulie throwing a wrench in his carefully worked out plan, things never go smoothly. That’s why Fergy and Paulie are on the top of Langston’s list.
Pecky Pudgeon (Pigeon)
This paparazzi pigeon made a name for himself taking photos of the most famous Piñatas. But you don’t have to be famous to get Pecky’s attention. His pastime is gossiping about anyone and anything, and often writes it in Piñata Island’s #1 newspaper, the Piñata Yada Yada.
(Mad) Mongo Macaraccoon (Raccoon)
He has a Jekyll and Hyde-like personality – you just never know when he’s going to explode! He Fergy’s neighbour and the gang do whatever they can to avoid him. But circumstances often lead them to his door to request some sort of favor.
Simone Cinnamonkey (Monkey)
she’s the career focused piñata of the bunch who has the pleasure of managing Hudson Horstachio. She’s always on the phone – often on two calls at once. She often double books her superstar client, so when Husdon can’t make it she recruits other Piñatas to fill-in.
Pierre Parrybo (Parrot)
is a feisty and fiery, French-accented piñata. He is the island’s designated Official for various island functions. In addition to officiating, he also has a call-in radio show and is the island’s #1 DJ.
The Bonboon (Mandrill)
is considered to be the wisest of the wise by many of the piñatas. Many go to him for advice – but what most don’t realize is that he’s really not an all-knowing, all-seeing oracle. He just says whatever he thinks they want to hear in order to get their candy from them.
Dr. Quackberry (Duck)
is the only psychologist in the garden. He is called upon to cure everything from a Pinatapartyphobia to Confetti-itis - although some question whether he’s really qualified.
Shirley Shellybean (Snail)
What she lacks in speed she makes up for in enthusiasm. She always arrives at Piñata Central after the announcements have finished, or after the Candiosity Metering is over. And yet, inexplicably, whenever there is a candy spill, she is the first Piñata on the spot!
Professor Pester & The Ruffians
They are a group of menacing Piñata poachers on the island. Professor Pester thinks of himself as a criminal mastermind, and tries anything he can to catch the Piñatas. Unfortunately, his dimwitted gang members, the Ruffians can’t seem to execute his plans.
