Brock
Brock's got a passion for Pokemon and falls head over heels for every pretty girl he meets! He becomes a Pokemon breeder and joins Ash and Misty on their adventures.
Max
What May lacks in Pokémon knowledge, her younger brother Max more than makes up for as a walking compendium of Pokémon facts that could put the average Pokedex to shame. However, for all this book knowledge, Max has difficulties in practice, tending to be over-prepared and overly defensive. If this Professor Oak-devotee keeps a close eye on his traveling companions, Max may well become a class-A trainer…once he’s old enough to keep a Pokémon of his own.
May
After celebrating her 10th birthday, it may be the call of the open road and not a zest for Pokémon that prompted May to kick off her journey. Though Pokémon aren't the first thing on May's mind as she embarks with Ash on her first Pokémon adventure, she holds a passion for life and zeal for all that is new – much like Ash’s devotion to the mysterious world of Pokémon. May’s dreams are met as her path leads her to new sights, new cities – and even new Pokémon. Ash had better watch out as his new traveling comrade is beginning to show true promise as a Pokémon trainer.
Pikachu
A cuddly electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu is capable of unleashing 10,000 volt blasts at a moment's notice. As Ash’s best friend and most trusted confidant, Pikachu acts as his ambassador to the Pokémon world – and is by Ash’s side as they experience one exhilarating adventure after another. Pikachu remains Ash’s number one choice as they venture into this new land of mystery.
Professor Oak
The Professor is the ultimate authority on all things Pokemon. Professor Oak starts Ash on his journey by supplying a Pokedex, some Pokeballs, and Pikachu. The Professor is always ready with some friendly advice -- when he's not bragging about his grandson Gary.
Team Rocket
Jessie, James and a very nasty cat named Meowth make up Team Rocket. There mission is to steal rare and unusual Pokemon for their evil boss -- and the one they really want is Pikachu! The only problem is they usually end up messing up their own devious schemes.
