Ep 002 - My Name is Konohamaru
Naruto finally graduates from the Ninja Academy and claims to know it all. Well, at least that what he tells Konohamaru, the Village elder's pint-size grandson. Much to the dismay of Ebisu, Konohamaru's teacher and mentor, Naruto teaches him the hormonally lethal "Sexy Jutsu!"

Ep 003 - Sakura and Sasuke: Friends or Foes
On the way to becoming a ninja, Naruto must team up with his classmates, the pretty Sakura and the pretty serious Sasuke, whose only common bond is that they both hate Naruto. So Naruto tries to win Sakura over by pretending to be her life-long crush …Sasuke!

Ep 004 - Pass or Fail: Survival Test
Now that Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are a team, they meet with their sensei, the enigmatic and aloof Kakashi. He presents to them a survival challenge where only two of them will pass, sending the failing student back to the Ninja Academy! Too bad they don't know that Kakashi's never passes anyone…ever!

Ep 005 - You Failed! KaKashi's Final Decision
With the threat of failure hanging over their heads, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura do everything they know how to pass the grueling survival test. But it will take some wise advice from Kakashi to teach these selfish ninja a thing or two about teamwork!

Ep 006 - A Dangerous Mission! Journey to the Land of Waves
Naruto and his squad start their first ninja missions with boring and menial tasks. Weary and angry, Naruto vents his frustration at the Hokage. Amused by Naruto's excitement, he gives them a new mission, to protect a grumpy old man named Tazuna as he returns to his home!

Ep 007 - The Assasin of the Mist
Naruto and his squad arrive in the Land of the Waves and learn that an evil businessman named Gato has taken over the land. Zabuza Momochi appears, hired by Gato to kill Tazuna. Excited and ready to attack, Naruto can't wait to take on this powerful ninja assassin. Will he be up to the challenge?!

Ep 008 - The Oath of Pain
Kakashi has the upper hand against Zabuza in their battle. But soon, the tide turns as Kakashi is trapped inside Zabuza's Water Prison! Kakashi urges the squad to flee, but Naruto remembers the pledge he made- to never run away again - and holds his ground!!

Ep 009 - Kakashi:Sharingan Warrior
Thanks to Naruto's ingenious plan, Kakashi is freed from the water prison. He defeats Zabuza, leaving him critically injured. But in a blink of an eye, a mysterious tracking ninja shows up and kills Zabuza before Kakashi can. Naruto is shocked that a boy, not much older than he was able to defeat Zabusa so easily.

Ep 010 - The Forest of Chakra
Recuperating at Tazuna's house, Kakashi is unsatisfied with the outcome of the battle. He concludes that Zabusa isn't dead and the young tracking ninja helped Zabuza escape! Kakashi decides to implement some interesting training that will allow Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura to better control their chakra!

Ep 011 - The Land Where a Hero Once Lived
Sakura goes out to town with Tazuna and discovers the hardship that the people of Land of Waves suffer under Gato’s rule. It is because of this reason that Tazuna risks his life building a bridge that crosses the ocean.

Ep 012 - Battle on the Bridge
While Naruto concentrates on the training to control his Chakra, a mysterious person suddenly appears before him. The person tells Naruto that as long as one has the desire to protect what he loves, there is no limit to becoming stronger. The mysterious figure echoes the sentiment inside Naruto and the two feel a sense of connection. But nothing more is discussed between them and the person disappears. Who was that mysterious figure? And for what reason did he approach Naruto?

Ep 013 - Haku's Secret Jutsu:Crystal Ice Mirrors
Once again, the time has come to fight Zabuza and this time he's got company, the tracking ninja who initially defeated him. Zabuza and his companion take notice of Sasuke's abilities, and Sasuke in turn realizes the immense power that the masked ninja holds. At the same time, Gato's henchmen invade Tazuna's home to take Tsunami as a hostage.

Ep 014 - The Number One Hyperactive. Knucklehead Ninja Joins the Fight
Sasuke faces a pinch inside of Haku's Crystal Ice Mirrors, but Naruto comes to the rescue. Although Sasuke has a plan to counter Crystal Ice Mirrors with attacks from both the inside and outside the technique's realm, Naruto's unexpected action ruins Sasuke's strategy. Eventually, both young Ninja get trapped in Haku's jutsu.

Ep 015 - Zero Visibility:The Sharingan Shatters
Kakashi understands the situation of the battle. For a ninja, battle experience is an absolute necessity and Naruto and Sasuke lack the experience to defeat Haku, who has fought numerous battles alongside Zabuza. Realizing time is of the essence, Kakashi decides to use Sharingan once again to defeat Zabuza. What is the "strategy" that Zabuza takes?

Ep 016 - The Broken Seal
Naruto and Sasuke continue to receive punishing attacks under Haku's Crystal Ice Mirrors. Sasuke prepares for Haku's onslaught, but the masked ninja's target is actually the wounded Naruto. Sasuke is caught off guard by Haku's action and uses his own body to shield Naruto…

Ep 017 - White Past:Hidden Ambition
Naruto finally explodes! His anger against Haku, who defeated Sasuke, unleashes the power of the Nine-tailed Fox . Naruto's Chakra becomes so intense that even Kakashi and Zabuza, fighting off in the distance, take notice. Haku is unable to do anything in the face of Naruto's hidden power.

Ep 018 - The Weapons Known as Shinboi
Haku tells the hesitant Naruto to finish him off. Meanwhile, the battle between Kakashi and Zabuza approaches the climax. With victory within his grasp, Kakashi unleashes his most devastating maneuver, Lightning Blade, against Zabuza. At the last moment, a body protects Zabuza and it is none other than the injured Haku.

Ep 019 - The Demon in the Snow
Thinking of Haku, Naruto angrily confronts Zabuza. Even though he appears to have no emotion, Zabuza actually sheds tears at the death of his partner. The loss of Haku devastates Zabuza, taking away the only person he could trust in the world. Naruto learns that this kind of cruel reality is indeed the fate of a ninja.

Ep 020 - A New Chapter Begins:The Chunin Exam
Naruto and his team return to the Village Hidden in the Leaves after their battle in Land of Waves. Even though they complete new missions that are assigned to them, Naruto is not satisfied with the daily routine. But soon after, he learns that outsiders are gradually arriving in Leaf Village. They are individuals, chosen as representatives of each village to participate in the "Chunin Exam."

Ep 021 - Identity Yourself:Powerful New Rivals
The Leaf Village decides to choose representatives of their own for the Chunin (middle rank ninja) Qualification Exam. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are among those who are chosen to take the examination. But Iruka vehemently opposes the participation of Naruto and his team.

Ep 022 - Chunin Challene:Rock Lee vs. Sasuke!
As Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura prepare for the examination, a Ninja with short bobbed hair and thick eyebrows named Rock Lee appears. Lee then proceeds to challenge Sasuke to a duel. As Sasuke struggles with Lee's maneuvers, he at last realizes the opponent's strength lies in his Taijutsu ability.

Ep 023 - Genin Takedown! All Nine Rookies Face Off!
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura officially register for the Chunin Exam. In this examination, three ninja form a team and in order to pass, not a single member is allowed to fail. Naruto's team takes a look at Kabuto's information and discovers that those who are taking the test have considerable skills and are elite ninja who carry the honor of their villages.

Ep 024 - Start Your Engines:The Chunin Exam Begins
Naruto and his team begin the first exam, a written paper test. The exam proctor is a special Jonin (upper rank ninja) named Ibiki Morino, who is an infamous expert in interrogation. Sasuke and Sakura are worried that if Naruto answers all of the questions wrong, they themselves will fail the test.

Ep 025 - The Tenth Question:All or Nothing
The first exam tests the intelligence gathering skills of the students. The exam calls for the students to cheat in answering the difficult questions without being caught by the examination officials. The hardest part of the first exam comes in Question 10. The consequence of answering wrong means that the path to becoming a Chunin will be taken away forever.

Ep 026 - Special Report:Live From the Forest of Death
Konohamaru, the grandson of Leaf Village's Third Hokage, shows up at the Chunin Exam site. He comes along with Moegi and Udon to cover the events for the Ninja Academy's school newspaper. Konohamaru looks up to Naruto like an older brother and through interviews with the characters, recaps their adventures thus far.

Ep 027 - The Chunin Exam Stage 2:The Forest of Death
Naruto and his fellow participants arrive at Forest of Death, the site of the second exam in the Chunin Test. The exam proctor Anko explains that the latest exam will be a survival game. As the exam begins, Anko offers only one piece of advice to the participants - "Don't Get Killed!"

Ep 028 - Eat or Be Eaten:Panic in the Forest
The second exam starts in the “Forest of Death.” Naruto tells Sasuke and Sakura that he needs use the bathroom and heads into the bushes. But when Naruto returns to the team, Sasuke suddenly knocks him out. Sasuke notices that an enemy disguised himself as Naruto. Sasuke pursues the intruder but is unable to capture him.

Ep 029 - Naruto's Counterattack: Never give in
The Grass ninja that attacks Sasuke and Sakura has more power than the two can handle. Against this much stronger opponent, terror enters the heart of Sasuke. But in this crisis, Naruto comes to the rescue!

Ep 030 - The Sharingan Revived:Dragon-Flame Jutsu
Seeing Naruto furiously fight back against the Grass Ninja, Sasuke realizes that he was wrong to think about fleeing the scene of a battle. Taking over for Naruto, who runs out of energy, Sasuke uses his Sharingan to its full potential to drive back the enemy. When Sasuke finally corners his target, he unleashes his secret move!

Ep 031 - Bushy Brow's Pleadge:Undying Love and Protection
After receiving the report from her staff, Anko senses that Orochimaru has snuck into the examination. Anko starts a pursuit to capture Orochimaru, but even with her Special Jonin skills, she is unable to stop the intruder.

Ep 032 - Sakura Blossoms!
Protecting Sakura, who can no longer move, Lee battles the three Sound ninja himself. He uses his secret move Primary Lotus on the Sound ninja Dosu, but the attack has no effect. After receiving blows from Dosu, Lee collapses in battle. Meanwhile, Sakura is angry at her own lack of power and always letting others protect her. In order to defend the people that she cares, Sakura rises to her feet…

Ep 033 - Battle Formation: Ino-Shika-Cho!
While Sakura fends off the Sound ninja attack by herself, the rival Ino team appears! They decide to help Sakura after watching her fight against the Sound Ninja. With their battle formation “Ino-Shika-Cho,” the Ino team tries to repel their assailants…

Ep 034 - Akamaru Trembles: Gaara’s Cruel Strength!
The Sound ninja depart after witnessing Sasuke’s intense power. Naruto’s team finally gets a period of peace to recuperate from the battles. Meanwhile, as Kiba’s team reaches the tower at the goal point, they remember what they witnessed from Gaara of the Sand ninja. Kiba, obtains the second scroll soon after the beginning of the exam and his team is heading toward the tower.

Ep 035 - The Scroll’s Secret: No Peeking Allowed
To heal their wounds, Naruto and his team take a much-needed rest after their battle against the Sound ninja. But it has already been four days since the start of the exam and there is only one day remaining until time expires. In this predicament, Naruto proposes an idea: use the scroll they have in their possession to make the duplicate of the Scroll of Heaven that is being used in this exam. In order to make a duplicate, they try to open the Scroll of Earth that is supposed to be sealed. At the same time, another team from Leaf Village opens the Scroll of Earth that they hold…

Ep 036 - Clone vs. Clone: Mine Are Better Than Yours
Naruto’s team joins Kabuto on their journey to the tower, but on the way, they are trapped by the Genjutsu (Illusion Technique) of Hidden Rain Village’s Genin ( low rank ninja), Oboro’s team. Not only do they lose energy by being forced to walk the same area repeatedly, they struggle in their fight against the numerous clones created by the technique.

Ep 038 - Narrowing the Field: Sudden Death Elimination!
The twenty-one ninjas that passed the second exam assemble for their next challenge. The looks of the qualifiers show the various emotions burning within. The Third Hokage appears before them and explains the true intention of the Chunin Qualification Test. The test is meant as a small-scale example of what warfare between the allied nations would be like. By having the Ninjas risk their lives in this examination, the ninja villages that have maintained balance and friendship get a chance to showcase the fighters each place holds. But before the third exam is introduced, it is determined that too many passed the second exam and preliminaries for the third exam will be held immediately...

Ep 039 - Bushy Brow's Jealousy - Barrage of Lions Unleashed!
The preliminaries of the third exam are one on one combat, and the first match is between Sasuke and Orochimaru's minion, Yoroi. Attention centers on this year's number one rookie, Sasuke. However, after the fight begins, Yoroi quickly corners Sasuke. Sasuke is unable to use his powerful Sharingan because the spell on his neck reacts to the heightening of Chakra. Even worse, Yoroi absorbs the Chakra out of Sasuke. In order to defeat this enemy, Sasuke employs a Taijutsu (Physical Art) move similar to that of Rock Lee! Furthermore, Sasuke succeeds in holding back the effect of the spell that attempted to engulf him and releases the power of the Sharingan. Then, Sasuke launches his new move Shishi Rendan (Barrage of Lion)...

Ep 040 - Kakashi and Orochimaru: Face-to-Face!
As Kakashi safely releases Sasuke from the spell, Orochimaru shows up from behind. Orochimaru expresses his desire for the power of Sharingan that the Uchiha clan holds in order to fulfill his ambitions. Meanwhile, in the third exam preliminaries, Hidden Sound Village's Genin (low rank ninja), Zaku, whose arm was broken by Sasuke, fights against Hidden Leaf Village's Genin (low rank ninja) Shino. In this battle, it seems as if Shino, who controls the large number of Parastic Insects that eats Chakra, has the advantage. But Zaku is hiding the fact that he could actually use both arms!

Ep 041 - Kunoichi Romble: The Rivals Get Serious
The preliminaries continue as the next match pits Hidden Sand Village ninja Gaara’s teammate, Kankuro, against Orochimaru’s minion, Misumi. Soon after the battle starts, Misumi captures Kankuro, using a body that can freely dislocate numerous joints to become extremely loose. But the body that Misumi captures is actually a doll. Kankuro is a puppeteer who uses puppets in battle. The momentum of the fight shifts in favor of Kankuro and ends in his victory. The next match is announced as Sakura versus Ino. The battle between not only childhood friends but fierce rivals, begin…

Ep 042 - The Ultimate Battle: Cha
The fourth match is between Sakura and Ino, who are childhood friends and competitors for the affection of Sasuke. Although Sakura has held a feeling of admiration for Ino since she was young, she does not hesitate to fight her in this battle. The two Ninjas seem equal in skills. Ino pretends to accept a challenge by Sakura and instead takes over her opponent’s mind by using Mind Transfer Jutsu. Once Ino is in Sakura’s body, she tries to make her forfeit the match…

Ep 043 - Killer Kunoichi and a Shaky Shikamaru
The fifth match is between Tenten and Temari. Tenten, who is the master of flying weapons, uses a variety of arsenal against her enemy, but they are repelled by Temari’s giant fan. Temari win the battle by completely nullifying Tenten’s attacks and showcases the dangerous power of the Hidden Sand Village. The sixth match is Shikamaru versus Kin. Although Kin looks to have the advantage early in the match, Shikamaru uses his Shadow Possession Jutsu…

Ep 044 - Akamaru Unleashed
In the seventh match, Naruto clashes against Kiba, who brings along his dog Akamaru. Kiba uses his All-Four Jutsu to attack Naruto. Although Naruto appears to be in a bind, he manages to turn the tide. A smoke ball is thrown against Naruto, but he uses Shadow Clone Jutsu combined with Transformation Jutsu to strike back against Kiba and shows everybody that he is a ninja to be reckoned with. But then, Akamaru and Kiba drink Food Pills and begin an intense assault on Naruto…

Ep 045 - Surprise Attack! Naruto's Secret Weapon
By drinking Food Pills, Kiba and Akamaru increase their level of Chakra and start their counterattack on Naruto. However, Naruto uses Transformation Jutsu to thwart Kiba, who has a strong sense of smell, and tries to win the match with a new secret move. What does Naruto have in hand for his opponent…!?

Ep 046 - Byakugan Battle: Hinata Grows Bold!
The eighth match is between Hinata and Neji. This battle features relatives with deep animosity, as Hinata comes from the primary Hyuga family and Neji is from the branch family of the same clan. Although the timid Hinata is pushed around by Neji’s aggressiveness, she gains strength by hearing Naruto’s encouraging words. With both Ninjas inheriting the Hyuga clans’s Byakujutsu (white-eye technique), how will this battle unfold…?

Ep 047 - A Failure Stands Tall
Hinata goes up against Neji, but he hits her pressure point by using his Byakugan (white eyes). Hinata’s flow of Chakra is stopped and she almost loses her consciousness. But she finds courage by remembering the sight of Naruto, not giving up in the face of any adversity with his commitment to fulfill his way as a ninja. Everybody is surprised at the sight of a Hinata they had never seen before, going beyond her limit to continue the fight…

Ep 048 - Gaara vs. Rock Lee: The Power of Youth Explodes
Gaara finally appears in the ninth match and his opponent is Taijutsu (physical technique) specialist Lee. Against Gaara, who manipulates the sand from his gourd, Lee uses his powerful Taijutsu moves. As the intense battle between the two continues, the moment comes when Gaara’s defense Sand Armor finally comes loose…

Ep 049 - Lee's Hidden Strength: Forbidden Secret Jutsu
Lee uses the banned technique Primary Lotus to attack Ghaara. It appears as if the match is over, but the move only damages the shell made by Gaara’s sand. Unable to move after using Renge, Lee is simply thrown around by Gaara. Although Lee faces imminent defeat, he receives support from his mentor Guy. In order to win the match, Lee unleashes a move even more forbidden than Primary Lotus: Hidden Lotus.

Ep 050 - The Fifth Gate: A Splendid Ninja is Born
Lee decides to use the forbidden move, Hidden Lotus, as a last resort. Unlike Primary Lotus, which releases one of the eight gates that have concentration of Chakra holes, Hidden Lotus opens three or more gates. When all eight gates are open, it could even lead to the death of the user, and this is why it is considered such a dangerous move. Lee puts his life on the line as he opens up five gates that allow him to attack Gaara with ultra high-speed Taijutsu (physical Art). But Gaara answers back with his own vicious attack of Sand Coffin. Lee loses consciousness, but in order to show his pride as a Ninja, he tries to get back on his feet again...

Ep 051 - A Shadow in Darkness: Danger Approaches Sasuke
In the final match of the preliminaries, Choji fights against Orochimaru's minion Dosu. Choji uses his Human Boulder, but Dosu comes out with the victory with his sound attack. The preliminaries are finally over and Hokage reveals the third exam. However, at the same time in the shadow, Orochimaru is plotting to make an unexpected move in the shadows. Next to Orochimaru's target, Sasuke, stood his right-hand man, Kabuto...

Ep 052 - Ebisu Returns: Naruto's Toughest Training Yet!
In preparation of the third exam that starts in a month, Naruto's former mentor, Kakashi, chooses Ebisu to train the young Ninja. Ebisu warns Naruto that he still lacks sufficient control of his own Chakra and makes him practice walking on the surface of water at a hot spring. Naruto impresses Ebisu by quickly learning the technique. Then suddenly, a figure appears before the two...

Ep 053 - Long Time No See: Jiraiya Returns!
After Naruto’s trainer Ebisu gets knocked out, Naruto looks to Jiraiya, the Toad Mountain Sage, for guidance and training for the Final Rounds. But Jiraiya is more interested in conducting “research” for his next novel.

Ep 054 - The Summoning Jutsu: Wisdom of the Toad Sage!
Jiraiya agrees to teach Naruto a Summoning Jutsu. But first, he must burn off all of his usual Chakra. Meanwhile, Hayate Gekko discovers a secret that could jeopardize the entire Leaf Village!

Ep 055 - A Feeling of Yearning, A Flower Full of Hope
As Naruto tries to hopelessly master the Summoning Jutsu, Sakura goes to hospital to visit Sasuke. Not to be outdone by her heartfelt display, Ino joins her. But to their surprise, both Sasuke is nowhere to be found!

Ep 056 - Live or Die: Risk it All to Win it All!
No matter how hard he tries, all Naruto can summon is a measly tadpole. Jiraiya reveals to Naruto that if he really wants to master the Summoning Jutsu, he must do it as if his life depended on it! Will Naruto make it and summon a toad before it’s too late?

The Hokage welcomes the Lord Kazekage to the arena and announces the start of the final rounds of the Chunin exams! In the first match, Neji uses his Byakugan against Naruto’s Shadow Clones!

Ep 061 - Ultimate Defense: Zero Blind Spot!
Unveiling a stunning defensive ninjutsu, Neji proves that Naruto’s attacks are incapable of penetrating his defenses. He suggests to Naruto that he forfeit the match, but Naruto has other plans!

Ep 062 - A Failure’s True Power
