Characters
Nat
Eleven year old Nat Wolff is the lead singer, songwriter, and backbone of the Naked Brothers Band. Though his nickname, “the girl magnet” brings to mind a smooth-talking ladies man, Nat is the exact opposite. Although the ladies love him, Nat feels awkward and self-conscious around girls, and struggles to hide a massive crush on his bandmate, Rosalina.
Alex
Bad-boy Alex Wolff is the Naked Brothers Band’s eight year old drumming sensation. Fittingly, Alex marches to the beat of his own drum, acting on whatever impulse strikes at any given moment. His wild child ways and signature do-rag set him apart from older brother Nat, but he’s just as lovesick—Alex is madly in love with his babysitter, Jesse.
Qaasim
Guitar hero Qaasim is a natural on his instrument and has been known to pull a few heartstrings as well. The true ladies man of the group, he’s a smooth talker who is always willing to give his bandmates advice about chatting up girls.
David
Pint-sized pianist David is eleven years old and an essential member of the band. When he’s not tickling the ivories, David can be found with fellow pranksters Qaasim and Thomas, dreaming up hair-brained schemes to woo the ladies.
Thomas
A master of the cello and a wannabe ladies man, Thomas can usually be found pulling pranks with his partners in crime, Qaasim and David. A fun-loving loose cannon, Thomas can be a bit of a goof at times but is a loyal friend.
Rosalina
The object of Nat’s affections, thirteen year old bass player Rosalina is beautiful, smart, and talented—she can play seven different instruments! Although she’s the only girl in the band, she thinks of herself as just one of the guys.
Cooper
Cell-phone addict Cooper is the band’s manager and devoted friend. Always the professional, Cooper works hard to make sure that people see past his age (eleven) and take him seriously. The fancy suit and trendy glasses are a big help.
Dad
Nat and Alex’s scatterbrained father adores his two sons and has no problem letting his boys rule the roost. His sons find him a bit embarrassing at times, but they know in their hearts that he means well.
Jesse
The Naked Brothers Band’s resident tutor and babysitter, Jesse is also the girl of Alex’s dreams. Despite the thirteen year age difference, (she’s twenty-one!) Alex truly believes they can make it work, and becomes wildly jealous every time Jesse starts dating someone new.
