Eps 01 - Secret of the Dragon Ball
Bulma’s search for five more Dragon Balls leads her to a remote valley and Goku, who is in possession of one of the balls. The two strangers begin their relationship with Goku’s naiveté getting on Bulma’s nerves, but after Goku saves Bulma’s life, they join forces in search of the remaining four Dragon Balls.
Eps 02 - The Emperor’s Quest
Without realizing where they are, Bulma and Goku camp near Skull Valley, a foreboding land where one of the Dragon Balls is believed to be hidden. Emperor Pilaf dispatches his henchmen to recover the ball, but they and Goku run into each other, and a pack of wolves.
Eps 03 - Roshi’s Nimbus Cloud
Bulma and Goku save the life of a sea turtle from a hungry monster, and return the turtle to the sea. There, they meet the turtle’s grateful friend, Master Roshi, a wise old martial arts master, who gives Bulma a Dragon Ball, and Goku a magical flying cloud, which can only be ridden by someone who is pure of heart.
Eps 04 - Oolong the Terrible
Bulma and Goku’s search for the Dragon Balls takes them to a remote valley where they encounter Oolong, a shape-changing monster who is terrorizing a village. They are promised a Dragon Ball by the local townspeople if they can defeat the fierce monster. But the battle never materializes as Goku discovers that Oolong is really a shape-changing coward whose real form is a pig.
Eps 05 - Yamcha the Desert Bandit
Oolong joins Bulma and Goku as they brave the dangers of the desert in search of a Dragon Ball. There, deep in the barren land, they encounter and battle Yamcha, a fierce warrior, and Puar, his shape-changing sidekick.
Eps 06 - Keep an Eye on the Dragon Balls
While Bulma, Goku and Oolong recover from the ordeal of acquiring five Dragon Balls, Yamcha and Puar try to steal them out from under their noses so that Yamcha can obtain his own grandiose goal. But they’re not the only ones after the Dragon Balls! Emperor Pilaf’s henchmen are closing in as well. In the meantime, Oolong drugs Goku and Bulma for his own devious purposes.
Eps 07 - The Ox-King on Fire Mountain
Bulma and Goku’s search for the Dragon Balls takes them high up to the top of Fire Mountain, where they meet the Ox-King, a fierce and mighty king whose castle is surrounded by a wall of fire. Goku battles Ox-King until they discover that Master Roshi trained both Goku’s grandpa and Ox-King. Then they join forces to try and find Master Roshi, as only he has the power to put out such a ravaging fire. But with the battle over, Goku has a whole new set of problems: ChiChi, the Ox-King’s daughter, is in love with him!
Eps 08 - The Kamehameha Wave
Master Roshi, who appears to be a wise, but feeble old man, reveals that he is a master of the ‘Kamehameha Wave”, an ancient and formidable force. The power, which he channels through his hands, creates a wave of tremendous destruction that can topple mountains. But if it’s not used carefully it can be fatal. He arrives to put out the fire, but in doing so he accidentally destroys the mountain and the Ox-King’s castle in the process. Oops! At least Goku and Bulma recover the Dragon Ball out of the castle’s rubble.
Eps 09 - Grand Master Rabbit’s Magic Touch
Bulma and Goku’s search takes them to a remote village that is being terrorized by a gang of Hell’s Angels with bunny ears. They apparently dress like that because the leader of the sect has the strange and mysterious ability to turn his victims into giant carrots. Just when things look bleak for Bulma and Goku, Yamcha and Puar come to the rescue, but with their own scheme in mind.
Eps 10 - The Dragon Balls are Stolen
Emperor Pilaf’s henchman Shao manages to steal the Dragon Balls from Bulma. Goku gives chase, but he is unable to recover the balls. Goku and Bulma are joined by Yamcha and Puar and together they go after the Dragon Balls, only to be captured by Emperor Pilaf’s forces.
Eps 11 - The Penalty is Pinball
With Goku, Bulma, Yamcha, and Puar imprisoned, no one can stop Emperor Pilaf from combining the seven Dragon Balls and summoning forth the Dragon and expanding his reign of terror to include the entire world! Goku and the others try everything and anything they can in a series of impossible escape attempts, but the prison is just too strong.
Eps 12 - A Wish to the Eternal Dragon
Just as Emperor Pilaf is about to make a wish, Goku leads the others in a successful escape. They arrive just in time to prevent Pilaf from seizing control of the world, but they can’t stop the greedy Oolong from requesting his own wish, and that gets them all into big trouble! And, as a result of Oolong’s wish, the Dragon Balls are once again spread across the face of the Earth.
Eps 13 - The Legend of Goku
Goku is exposed to a full moon and transformed into a monstrous Gorilla and goes on a rampage, attacking friends and foes alike. Bulma, Yamcha and Puar must try and return Goku to his normal self without hurting him and avoid Pilaf’s army while they’re doing it. As they successfully “save” Goku, they discover that his “curse” is really the key to his mysterious origin.
Eps 14 - Goku’s Rival
With the Dragon Balls turned to ordinary stones for a year, the gang has split to pursue new adventures. While Bulma, Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar struggle through the desert after their plane crashes, Goku flies to Master Roshi's island to learn Martial Arts! But another boy is anxious for lessons, too… His name is Krillin!
Eps 15 - Look Out For Launch
Goku and Krillin roam the skies to find Master Roshi a date. Down below, a mysterious blue-haired girl enters a saloon with a bag full of cash. Her name is Launch, and she seems harmless enough. But when she sneezes, she transforms into a blonde femme fatale! Goku rescues the blue-haired girl and brings her back to Roshi's island, knowing nothing of her deadly secret.
Eps 16 - The First Test
With Launch arriving to keep Master Roshi company, the old teacher agrees to show Goku and Krillin the secrets of Martial Arts! The group packs up the Kame house and is off to a larger island, where official training begins! Within the island jungle, the boys must endure countless life-threatening obstacles, including dinosaurs, saber-toothed tigers, and Launch -- if she sneezes!
Eps 17 - Training BeginsTurtle Hermit Style
Master Roshi awakens Goku and Krillin early to initiate their rigorous training exercises. The day begins with the two young students delivering milk across the countryside. A simple task? Not when it’s done the Turtle Hermit way!
Eps 18 - Training Triumphs
Goku and Krillin’s first full day of training continues, and the boys discover all too soon the many dangers of the island. Among them -- a man-eating dinosaur, a swarm of angry wasps, and a machine gun-wielding Launch! It’s just another day of Turtle Hermit Training!
Eps 19 - To the Tournament
Goku and Krillin have completed their basic training and are ready to learn Master Roshi’s teachings about the secret of Martial Arts. But the old teacher has another lesson in mind – he enters the boys in the prestigious World Martial Arts Tournament! But before the boys can qualify for the tournament, they’ll have to make it through the heated Elimination Round…
Eps 20 - Elimination Round
There’s a fight every minute as the elimination round begins! Krillin confronts his haunting past when he’s thrown against the same bully that expelled him from the Orin Temple! Yamcha makes a stand with his Wolf Fang Fist -- against a ferocious Wolf Man! And Goku fights a giant ten times his size! The question isn’t only, can they win... Can they make it out alive?
Eps 21 - Krillin's Trial
The final eight competitors draw lots for their match-ups in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Krillin gets the first match, against an unusually repulsive oaf named Bacterian! He hasn’t taken a bath since he was born, and uses his terrible stench to stun his opponents! Can Krillin endure the smell-attack and advance to the next round?
Eps 22 - Secrets & Successes
There’s not one, but TWO exciting matches as the Martial Arts Tournament flies into full swing! First it’s Yamcha versus the mysterious Jackie Chun. Then it’s Nam, the silent warrior, versus the femme fatale Ranfan! It’s a fist frenzy, as these four fighters battle it out for a place in the semi-finals!
Eps 23 - A Tail to Remember
When Giran uses his Merry-go-round Gum against Goku in the quarter-finals, the young warrior has to get a little help from the Flying Nimbus to stay in the game. But the tides turn when Goku’s tail suddenly grows back, and he forces a surprise ending to a very tough match!
Eps 24 - Slow Motion Capture
The World Martial Arts Tournament continues as Krillin battles Jackie Chun in the semi-finals. When Krillin uses his secret weapon, it looks like he’s sealed the victory—but not so fast! The wily old master has a few tricks of his own!
Eps 25 - The Last Semi-Triumph
In a radical showdown of aerial acrobatics, Goku and Nam battle it out to see who will advance to the finals and fight for the title of World Champion. Can Nam—who is so fiercely determined to win for his people—really be overcome?
Eps 26 - The Grand Finals
The World Martial Arts Tournament nears its explosive conclusion! The much anticipated final bout begins, pitting the age and experience of Jackie Chun against the youthful enthusiasm of Goku. Both fighters are incredible, but only one will be named World Champion!
Eps 27 - The Match Continues - Goku Goes Simian
As the crazy battle continues, Jackie Chun unleashes his Surprise World Attack, turning Goku’s body into pure electricity! But when Goku’s eyes fall on the rising moon, the young fighter transforms into a gigantic ape that not even Jackie Chun can contain! Can anything stop the monstrous Goku from destroying everything in sight – including his own friends?
Eps 28 - The Final Blow
Jackie Chun gets labeled a murderer after launching his stellar attack on the giant ape. But through a bizarre secret strategy, Goku survives. Now, with their energy at close to nothing, Goku and Jackie Chun must abandon their special techniques and engage in unbelievable close combat! And only one will be left standing! The tournament ends today!

Goku begins a search for his Grandfather’s Four-Star Dragon Ball and finds the adventure of a lifetime. The fate of an entire village rests on his shoulders as he braves the perilous desert to discover the secret of the mysterious Roaming Lake.
Eps 30 - Pilaf and the Mystery Force
The race for the Dragon Balls continues, as Goku must battle Emperor Pilaf and his cohorts for control of the Four-Star Ball. Amid the chaos rises a new enemy – a mysterious horde of villains who will stop at nothing to realize their lethal agenda.
Eps 31 - Wedding Plans?
There’s an impostor in the Ox-King’s village, and he works for Emperor Pilaf! Pilaf is back to his sneaky tricks to get his hands on a Dragon Ball, but he isn’t the only one looking! The Red Ribbon Army is also on the hunt, and they’ll destroy everything in their path to get what they want – even Goku’s… wedding?!

The Ox King’s been had! Now, Goku is here to straighten it out. Emperor Pilaf made an impostor of Goku in order to steal the prized Dragon Ball. Goku explores a jungle paradise in search of the Four-Star Dragon Ball. Little does he know, the diabolical Colonel Silver is hot on his tail! And when the Red Ribbon Army carves a path of destruction through the jungle, it’s clear they didn’t come to monkey around!
Eps 34 - Cruel Governor - General Red Ribbon
Colonel Silver’s troops scour land, sea, and air in search of the elusive Dragon Ball, but what they find is Goku! With the help of his Dragon Radar, Goku pinpoints the location of the ball and plucks it from under the noses of the Red Ribbon Army. But he doesn’t get far -- Goku’s escape attempt brings him face to face with Colonel Silver himself!
Eps 35 - Suno, a Little Girl in a Northern Village
Goku is dragged into his most exciting adventure yet, literally. The treacherous Red Ribbon Army threatens a peaceful village. Soldiers ravage the land in search of another Dragon Ball, destroying anything that gets in their way. And a dark secret looms in a mysterious tower, which holds the source of the villagers’ woes. Eps 37 - Ninja Murasaki is Coming!
Goku’s quest to save the Village Chief from Muscle Tower is in danger of coming to an untimely end when he confronts the fourth-floor guard, Ninja Murasaki. Known as the “Messenger of Death”, this villain has an arsenal of lethal techniques at his disposal, and he plans to use every one of them as he leads Goku through a treacherous obstacle course where nothing is as it seems!
Eps 38 - Multi-Murasakis vs Goku!
Fighting a ninja is difficult. Fighting five – impossible! Those are the odds Goku must face when Murasaki unveils his deadly trick of Separation! And with five sword-wielding Murasakis on his tail, he’ll be lucky to stay in one piece!
Eps 39 - Android No. 8
Proving to be no match for Goku’s skills on his own, Murasaki makes a desperate call for reinforcements. He summons the Red Ribbon Army’s secret weapon – the monstrous Android Number 8! But there seems to be a flaw in the android’s design. He hates violence! Number 8 defies his creators by teaming up with Goku. Together, they must work to survive General White’s impossible tower maze.

Goku and Android Number 8 confront General White at the top of Muscle Tower. But the wily General sends the duo tumbling through a trap door into the darkness of floor number five. There they must face the blubbery monster Buyon, a hideous beast with only one thing on his mind – turning Goku into his next meal!
Eps 41 - The Last Day of Muscle Tower
Having bested all of White’s tower guards, only one obstacle stands between Goku and his goal – the General himself. In order to save the Village Chief, Goku must match strength and wits against General White. It’s winner-take-all in this showdown atop Muscle Tower, and only one of them will make it out alive!

Goku and Bulma have located another Dragon Ball. Now all they have to do is get it. It won’t be easy –this one is lying at the bottom of the sea! Eps 56 - There's a Stranger in Town!
Welcome to Penguin Village, population: strange! This extraordinary place is home to Sour Man, the plum powered superhero and Arale, a girl so fast, she leaves the wind behind! These bizarre characters and many more await Goku as he searches the countryside for the dastardly General Blue and the three missing Dragon Balls!
Eps 57 - Arale vs General Blue
Unable to find his way home, Goku turns to a kind but inept mechanic named Sembei Norimaki for help with his broken Dragon Radar. Little does he know that the Norimaki family has received another visitor – General Blue! Blue has a plane to catch, but not before he settles an old score with our hero!
Eps 58 - The Holy Land of Korin
The Red Ribbon Army tracks one of the Dragon Balls onto a volcano island! They aren’t the only one’s in this jungle paradise, though. A native, Bora, is there to protect this sacred habitat, and Goku is on his way, too! Will the tranquil isle ever be the same after the Captain Yellow and the army unleash their destruction and terror?
Eps 59 - The Terrifying Tao Pai Pai!
The Red Ribbon Army decides that money is no object when it comes to getting rid of the pesky Goku! So, they hire the highly skilled and equally ruthless Mercenary Tao to eliminate him. The two meet on the island of Korin, where the native, Bora, tries to lend a hand, with disastrous consequences.
Eps 60 - Facing the Dodon Wave!
The despicable hired hit man Mercenary Tao will stop at nothing to complete his mission and earn his paycheck. He made short work of Bora, but Goku won’t prove to be so easy. Goku is determined to avenge his friend’s death and hang on to the Dragon Balls. But will his determination be enough to beat this cruel contract killer?
Eps 61 - Korin of the Korin Tower
Goku attempts to climb the massive Korin Tower in hopes of finding the Sacred Water. Legend says that whomever drinks it will be rewarded with amazing new powers. It is a prize the young warrior finds irresistible, for the shadow of the deadly Mercenary Tao looms near!
Eps 62 - Magic Water
Goku continues his training atop Korin’s Tower. Exhausted, frustrated, but far from defeated, the young hero pushes on in an attempt to capture the bottle of Sacred Water from Korin. Meanwhile, Mercenary Tao prepares for a rematch against Goku, in which he intends to destroy him. Will our young hero be ready in time?
Eps 63 - Goku Returns!
The fight of the century is about to begin as Goku and Mercenary Tao square off for a rematch. Tao wants Goku’s Four-Star Ball and he’ll stop at nothing to get it. Luckily, our hero has a few surprises in store for the dangerous assassin, as he fights for the Dragon Balls – and his life!
Eps 64 - The End of Tao Pai Pai!
Quickly realizing he’s no match for Goku’s new strength, Tao decides to even the odds by climbing the tower and drinking the Sacred Water himself. What will Tao find atop the tower? And more importantly, what’s in store for Goku when the angry assassin comes back down?
Eps 65 - Goku Travels to Red Ribbon Headquarters
Goku journeys toward the Red Ribbon Army’s headquarters to retrieve the Dragon Balls there. Meanwhile Bulma and Master Roshi are trying to track him down. They think they’re worried now – just wait until they realize he intends to take on the whole army by himself!

Goku is on his way to take back the Dragon Balls from the Red Ribbon Army headquarters. And realizing the danger he’s in, his best friends have joined together to help! Goku stumbles into trouble when he meets Chao, a little girl who persuades him to help save her village from a pair of dangerous criminals, Plague and Terror. The real danger lies in a secret weapon the maniacs possess, one that could destroy Goku and leave his new foes invincible.

Tambourine continues his seek-and-slaughter campaign of martial artists as he sets his sight on victim eight: Yamcha! Master Roshi takes Tien and Chiaotzu on a cross-country race for the Dragon Balls, as they try to stay ahead of the competition, King Piccolo and his dastardly horde. Meanwhile Goku attempts to persuade mountain-boy Yajirobe to hand over his Dragon Ball to help save Krillin!

Tambourine closes in on Goku and Yajirobe as the two warriors engage in a cross-country chase…of each other. Meanwhile, to obtain a Dragon Ball Tien Shinhan must first atone for the brutality of his past.
Eps 108 - Here Comes Piccolo!
The final showdown between Goku and Tambourine is here! As Goku fights to avenge Krillin's death, Master Roshi, Tien, and Chiaotzu continue their race against King Piccolo for the Dragon Balls. However, Piccolo is out to get those responsible for Cymbal's demise, and the trail leads him to Goku!
Eps 109 - Goku vs. Piccolo
Goku must stand alone as he faces the wrath of King Piccolo. Without aid, and protecting the one-star Dragon Ball, Goku defends his life as the dastardly alien seeks revenge for the deaths of Cymbal and Tambourine, two of his prized soldiers. Master Roshi finds himself between a rock and a hard place as he quests for the three-star ball.

Exhausted, bruised, and alone, Goku makes a final stand against the seemingly indestructible King Piccolo. As Master Roshi and the others continue their pursuit of the Dragon Balls, it becomes clear that the trail leads to the dark forces of Piccolo and judgment day for our heroes.

Goku and Yajirobe seek the Choushin Sui Water, a mystical beverage that will grant either great power or death. But surprise follows surprise as Goku finally finds Darkness, the keeper of the Choushin Sui Water. After Goku proves himself worthy, Darkness allows him to drink the perilous potion. But will he be empowered or perish?
Eps 117 - Goku Gets a Boost
Tien masters the Mafuba Wave, deciding to use it against the evil Piccolo. One problem; if used against an opponent the Wave will kill its user! Meanwhile Goku and Yajirobe return to Korin's Tower where Goku discovers his new powers and is given another Nimbus cloud. Can Goku reach Piccolo before Tien sacrifices himself?

King Piccolo has declared annihilation of the world, one sector at a time. First up, the Western City, home of Bulma's parents. Tien Shinhan, having mastered the Evil Mafuba Wave, prepares to fight Piccolo, but a new menace threatens all. Goku races to offer aid, but will it be too late
Eps 119 - Testing the Mafuba Wave
There's a new beast in town and his name is Drum. Tien Shinhan must go through him before he can fight King Piccolo. The problem is, Drum moves faster than Tien's eyes-all three of them! Goku is on his way, but will he arrive in time to save the day?
Eps 120 - Goku's Fierce New Power Unleashed!

Piccolo puts all of West City on edge when he invades the King's castle, but Goku is not about to let him take over without a fight. With Piccolo's reign of terror at an end, Goku has time to mend his wounds. The only problem is that the only way to get to the mysterious Kami is by using his Niyoibo, and it's gone missing!
Eps 124 - The Palace above the Clouds
Goku finds his lost Niyoibo and uses it to climb to Kami's temple in the sky. The only problem is that when he arrives he must face off against Kami's assistant Mr. Popo in a test of strength. Does Goku have what it takes to pass this test and earn a meeting with the mysterious Kami?

Preparing for the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku gets some important training tips from Mr. Popo. Meanwhile, Tien, Yamcha, Chaiotzu and Krillin make their way to Korin's Tower for some training of their own. Unfortunately they are sidetracked by a village celebrating a mysterious festival to their mountain spirit. Once the mountain erupts it's up to our heroes to put a lid on the active volcano!

While Goku continues his training, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Krillin find themselves in a very hot situation! A remote village is threatened by an erupting volcano and it's up to the good guys to put a lid on it. The time has come to put their new training to the test!
