01 - Bleach 1
Meet Ichigo Kurosaki, age 15. He’s a high-school student who possesses the uncanny ability to see ghosts. But when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper from the Soul Society who helps lost souls find peace, his not-so-normal life becomes even more abnormal. In order to save his family from the grips of a Hollow, an evil spirit that preys on humans, Rukia lends some of her powers to Ichigo. Much to her surprise, he absorbs most of her powers and in turn, he too becomes a Soul Reaper.

02 - Bleach 2
It’s the morning after Ichigo’s transformation into a Soul Reaper, and no one in his family has any recollection of the events. Even the memory of him slaying a hollow is forgotten. He heads off to school, where he finds Rukia in the awkward guise of a transfer student.

03 - Bleach 3
Unfortunately, not all souls pass on and are properly into the Soul Society. Sadly they are abandoned and become Hollows. In the midst of this transformation, they lose their hearts and seek out those they loved most while they were alive.

04 - Bleach 4
Chad, Ichigo’s classmate and friend, is given a cursed cockatiel. He brings the bird to school, along with a plethora of injuries to his large body. Sensing spirit energy in the bird, Rukia feels they need to perform a Konso on the cockatiel and help its soul pass on. That evening, an injured Chad is brought to Kurosaki Clinic. Ichigo and Rukia sense the presence of a dangerous Hollow emanating from Chad's wound. The following morning, Chad bolts from his hospital bed and is nowhere to be found.

05 - Bleach 5
With Rukia's diminished powers and Chad’s inability to see Hollows, they struggle in their battle against Shrieker, a Hollow who has beaten many Soul Reapers and committed many vicious crimes. Meanwhile, Ichigo races to get Karin home as she collapses from the shock of seeing the tragic memories of the spirit within the cockatiel.

06 - Bleach 6
In need of certain Soul Reaper supplies, Rukia heads out to Urahara’s Shop where the owner, Kisuke Urahara, is both mysterious and aloof. She picks up her order, including Gikongan, which forces the soul out of the user’s body. But when Rukia gives Ichigo a Gikongan, a completely different Ichigo starts to run amok…

07 - Bleach 7
Ichigo and Rukia set out in search of Ichigo's body which has taken over by a Mod Konpaku. Ichigo finds it at an elementary school, but the Other Ichigo has become too strong and flees. In the midst of battle, Rukia receives word from her Kikanshiki of a Hollow sighting, but the battery dies and she is unable to confirm its location.

08 - Bleach 8
The 17th of June is the anniversary of the death of Masaki Kurosaki, Ichigo’s Mother. And on every June 17th, the Kurosaki family drops everything to pay respects at her grave. Ichigo intended to take a day off from Soul Reaper duties, but finds Rukia waiting for him at the cemetery. When she learns how Ichigo's mother died, Rukia suggests that perhaps the Hollow who came after him was the one who killed her.

09 - Bleach 9
The Grand Fisher, a Hollow who uses a lure to seek out humans with strong spiritual energy, appears before Ichigo. He is shocked by the sight of the lure, which has the shape of the young girl he saw when his mother died. Filled with rage and disbelief, he attacks the Grand Fisher. But losing his calm makes Ichigo an easy target while Rukia, who comes to Ichigo's rescue, is barely any match for this Hollow.

10 - Bleach 10
When television hero Don Kanonji schedules a live recording of his hit show “Spirit Hunter” at a local abandoned hospital, Ichigo reluctantly attends the hyped event alongside his fanatical friends, family and neighbors.

11 - Bleach 11
Rumor aboud concerning Ichigo and Rukia’s relationship since her soul pager sends them hollow alerts, leading them to leave their group of friends abruptly to respond to the calls.

12 - Bleach 12
In order to prove how useless Soul Reapers are, Uryu Ishida dispenses bait that lures Hollows to Karakura Town. Out with his friends for lunch, Chad senses a the presense of a Hollow.

13 - Bleach 13
Orihime discovers special powers of her own when an Octupus-like Hollow appears shows up to school and attacks her fellow classmates with special seeds. As Orihime tries to defend herself against the Hollow, the seeds have turned her unassuming classmates against her.

14 - Bleach 14
As the contest between Ichigo and Uryu continues, it is revealed that Uryu is one of the few living Quincies. The Quincies and Soul Reapers have a long-running rivalry that resulted in the near annihilation of all Quincies.

15 - Bleach 15
Rukia begins to worry that news of Ichigo’s battle with Menos Grande will attract the attention of the Soul Society. While spending time with their classmates participating in the activities of day-to-day school life, Ichigo, Rukia and Uryu each find themselves starting to feel more and more out of place.

16 - Bleach 16
As Rukia wanders the streets at night, she is discovered by two Soul Reapers from the Soul Society, Renji Abarai and Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia’s brother. One of them, A lieutenant named Renji Abarai, demands to know where the human who took her powers is.

17 - Bleach 17
When Renji proves not strong enough to defeat Ichigo, Byakuya unexpectedly steps in and nearly kills Ichigo with a move from his zanpaku-to. With Ichigo lying down, Rukia agrees to return to the Soul Society with Renji and Byakuya and atone for her crimes.

18 - Bleach 18
It’s the last day of school before summer vacation, and while the rest of the students in Ichigo’s class are discussing their plans for the summer, Ichigo is preparing to begin training with Urahara to enter the Soul Society and save Rukia. Under Yoruichi’s guidance, Chad and Orihime begin their own training in order to learn to use the new powers awakening in them.

19 - Bleach 19
Rukia learns that in twenty-five days, she’ll be taken to the Central Execution Grounds to face her punishment. Ichigo, Chad and Orihime continue their training, each struggling to become comfortable with accessing and controlling their spiritual powers.

20 - Bleach 20
Ichigo completes Lesson three of Urahara’s training and learns the name of his zanpaku-to. He is granted some rest time before receiving a startling call for a meeting at Urahara’s shop. At Urahara’s Shop, Ichigo learns that Chad, Orihime and Uryu have also been training for the journey to the Soul Society and he meets Yoruichi, a black cat with spiritual powers.

21 - Bleach 21
Uryu, Orihime, Chad, Ichigo and Yoruichi struggle past the cleaner and make it through to the Soul Society. They land in the Rukon District, a town on the outskirts of the Seireitei-where the Soul Reapers live.

22 - Bleach 22
Jidanbo succumbs to defeat and opens the Hakuto Gate, where Gin Ichimaru- the Captain of Squad Three, waits on the other side. Determined not to allow the gate to be opened to any intruders- particularly Ichigo and his entourage- he shuts the gate after blasting Jidanbo and Ichigo with his zanpaku-to.

23 - Bleach 23
Just as Ganju and his boar-riding gang are about to battle Ichigo and his friends, Ganju realizes it’s Nine O’Clock and is forced to make a sudden departure. Ichigo’s entourage is confused by Ganju’s sudden departure, but quickly remember their main responsibility to find a way into the Seireitei and save Rukia.

24 - Bleach 24
Ichigo and his friends learn that Kukaku’s plan is to shoot them into the Seireitei via her very own creation, the Flower Crane Cannon. In order for the cannon to work, each of them must learn to concentrate and control their spirit energy.

25 - Bleach 25
As preparations are made for the launch into the Seireitei, Ichigo, Uryu, Chad and Orihime work on harnessing their spirit energy. Yoruichi reminds them to stick together and remember that their goal is to save Rukia.

26 - Bleach 26
As they are catapulted into the Seireitei, Ichigo, Ganju, Yoruichi, Orihime, Uryu and Chad are separated and land in four different locations. Ichigo and Ganju wind up together and are challenged by two unassuming Soul Reapers.
