YTV ENCOURAGES VIEWERS TO GET MOVING
WITH LAUNCH OF NEW CAMPAIGN

'Get Your Rear in Gear' with Coach Callous.

(April 25, 2005 - Toronto, Canada) YTV's very own drill sergeant, Coach Callous, hits the airwaves today, pumped and determined to get everyone up and moving. After a successful debut on The Zone, Coach Callous is taking his message throughout the airwaves on YTV.

Nobody is safe from Coach Callous, a 1970s-styled boot-camp gym teacher, who bases his regiment on the importance of building strength, co-ordination and flexibility, all while having fun. Played by Carlos, co-host of The Zone, viewers will become very familiar with Callous' key mantra "Get your rear in gear!"

The on-air spots, airing throughout YTV's schedule, feature Coach Callous as he hits the streets, classrooms, teachers lounges and even family rooms, on the lookout for 'lazies' everywhere. Animated and live-action characters from YTV's most popular programs, SpongeBob SquarePants; The Fairly OddParents; 15/Love and Being Ian, are also put to the test to get fired up and moving.

"Though the campaign is targeted to kids, the message is clearly universal," said Melanie York, Executive Producer, YTV Dayparts. "By leveraging the popularity of Carlos in The Zone and developing an unforgettable character, we've created a totally unique way to remind kids about the importance of activity."

Coach Callous' drills also appear throughout YTV.com, popping up randomly on web pages with motivational rants, and 30-second mini-workout videos that kids can complete to obtain the highly coveted SiteKick chip codes.

YTV, Canada's #1 youth network, is seen in over eight million homes across Canada. As a major force in Canadian kids' entertainment, YTV has triggered over $870 million in Canadian independent production; developed a website that averages over 9 million page views each week; published a successful kids' magazine, Whoa!; and conducts a highly respected annual survey, The YTV Tween Report.

YTV is owned by Corus Entertainment, a Canadian-based media and entertainment company. Corus is a market leader in both specialty TV and Radio. Corus also owns Nelvana Limited, an internationally recognized producer and distributor of children's programming and products. The Company's other interests include music, television broadcasting and advertising services. A publicly traded company, Corus is listed on the Toronto (CJR.NV.B) and New York (CJR) Exchanges.
