When Slash left guns n roses he was soon replaced by buckethead, and has released with the band their newest album "Chinese Democracy". Your thoughts? I really miss Slash, and their old sound, but I feel buckethead is better suited for GNR's new style of music.

i never knew that. meh i don't really care much. I knew slash wasn't there but i never knew it was buckethead.Buckethead is good but i dont know i liked him more solo.

i think slash is still better. i saw them live with buckethead and axel left halfway thru the show for like 15 mins cuz there was a guy in the crowd dressed like slash, so he had him taken out, and i thought that was too rediculous.

Axl would hit Slash with a beer bottle (sorry for the MAD perspective lol) and then Slash would take out his awesome les-paul and jam so hard the sound waves would blow Axl out of the arena.

My situation is like DNBBB's I knew Slash was out, just didnt know it was buckethead who replaced him XD, Ive seen a picture of buckethead O_O' he looks possesed...

i have also seen a picture of buckethead...he was wearing a KFC bucket on his head and wearing a mask.
so i just don't know what his face look's like.
and parosa...old crock's?...never,i mean NEVER call Axl a old crock...he is one of the best singer's ever!.

Buckethead is greater than every member in the old GnR combined. And sorry to burst your bubble but he is an old crock. He's also a huge baby who tried to shift the blame for 'Disappointment of the Century' (AKA Chinese Democracy) on the other band members.

Wait, thats BUCKETHEAD PLAYING?!? Wow, I knew Slash got replaced but I wasn't aware that it was by buckethead. I'm almost amazed by how this fact slipped past me. Either way, Chinese Democracy turned out to be a flop in my eyes. They shouldn't have made it so the guitarist hardly matters anymore.

I do miss Slash. In the new album Buckethead does, dare I say, a SLIGHTLY better job than Slash, but his solos get a bit too... um... Mixed up? They sometimes don't seem like they fit in the song.
But really, Axl Rose was NEVER the real face of GNR. Whenever I heard GNR I would think of Slash. But it is great to see Buckethead come back.
