Bolter: Heeeey! =D Good to see you back on these part of the boards, its been pretty lonely with me and only Seaon. But suddenly, mrpokey, DNBBB, goo and now you seem to have all came coincidentally - party time! smile

My old deck is one of a kind, I don't think anyone uses my duelling style either. xD You use Lightsworn? Isn't that type of deck about, uh, speed and drawing cards quick, I think? I think I've heard of their big boss, Judgement Dragon. I'm not very familiar about them, can you tell me?

Yeah, I like Lightsworn. One main focus is to summon Judgement Dragon as fast as possible, cause it's a game-winner.

I'll post Lightsworn monsters in a different post, cause it won't fit LOL.

Typical Spells used in Lightsworn are:
Solar Recharge - Discard 1 "Lightsworn" monster. Draw 2 cards, then discard 2.
Charge of the Light Brigade - Send top 3 cards from Deck to the Grave. Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from Deck to your hand.
Monster Reincarnation - Discard 1 card, add 1 card from Grave to hand.
Gold Sarcophagus - Choose 1 card in the Deck and remove it from play. On the 2nd Standby Phase after this card was activated, add the card to your hand. *Opponent has to know what the card is.
Foolish Burial - Send 1 card from the Deck to the Grave. *Amazing for Wulf.

I don't think a lot of Traps are used in Lightsworn much, but the ones in my Deck are:
Royal Decree - stops Traps, good for me.
Beckoning Light - Discard all cards in hand, put LIGHT monsters in my hand equal to the same amount of cards discarded. There HAS to be the same amount of LIGHT monsters in the Grave as the number of cards in hand, otherwise it can't work.

Monsters I like to use other than the Lightsworns are:
Gorz, Emmisary of Darkness
Card Trooper
Plaguespreader Zombie
Necro Gardna
And of course,
Judgement Dragon (Dragon/LIGHT/Level 8/ATK 3000/DEF 2600): Can't be Normal/Tribute Summoned. Can only be Special Summoned if you have 4 or more "Lightsworn" monsters with different names in the Graveyard. If you pay 1000 LP, you can destroy all cards on the field except itself.

There're only a little Lightsworn monsters, but they're pretty powerful. Most have a discarding effect, that takes place at either the Standby or End Phase.

Rinyan, Lightsworn Rogue (Beast/Level 2/ATK 100/DEF 100): FLIP: Return 1 "Lightsworn" monster from the Grave to your hand and draw 1 card.
Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter (Beast/Level 2/ATK 200/DEF 100): FLIP: Destroy 1 card.
Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner (Spellcaster/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 1000): She can resurrect a Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster. Killer, when combined with Wulf.
Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid (Beast-Warrior/Level 3/ATK 1200/DEF 1800): You can't target effects to "Lightsworn" monsters.
Shire, Lightsworn Spirit (Fairy/Level 3/ATK 400/DEF 1400): Gains 300 ATK for every "Lightsworn" monster with a different name in the Graveyard.
Jenis, Lightsword Mender (Spellcaster/Level 4/ATK 300/DEF 1800): She heals 500 LP for every card sent to the Grave by the effect of a "Lightsworn" card. CARD, not monster, so Spells and Traps apply. wink
Ehren, Lightsworn Monk (Warrior/Level 4/ATK 1600/DEF 1800): When she attacks a DEF position monster, it returns to the owner's hand without damage calculation.

Continued on next post.

Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress (Spellcaster/Level 4/ATK 1700/DEF 200): She can destroy an opponent's card with a change of ATK/DEF mode.
Jain, Lightsworn Paladin (Warrior/Level 4/ATK 1800/DEF 1200): Gains +300 ATK during damage calculation.
Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior (Warrior/Level 4/ATK 1850/DEF 1300): Each time a card(s) is sent to the Grave by the effect of a "Lightsworn" monster you control except itself, send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Grave. Draw 1 card for every "Lightsworn" monster sent to the Graveyard due to this effect.
Wulf, Lightsworn Beast (Beast/Level 4/ATK 2100/DEF 300): He can only be summoned if you sent him straight from the deck to the Graveyard. Three = essential.
Celestia, Lightsworn Angel (Fairy/Level 5/ATK 2300/DEF 200): Probably one of the only "Lightsworn" monsters over Level 4, when you use a "Lightsworn" monster as a Tribute, you can mill 4 cards and destroy up to 2 of your opponent's.
Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon (Dragon/Level 6/ATK 2000/DEF 1600): This guy gains 300 ATK and DEF for every "Lightsworn" monster with a different name in your Grave. Oh, and also piercing damage against defense position monsters.

Also note that all Lightsworn monsters are LIGHT attribute.

And yeah, that's basically all to Lightsworns. It might seem alot cause it's three posts long, but it's because I used enter a lot. :P

Seems like one element of Lightsworns is that a Lightsworn deck works pretty fast. Like, you keep discarding, drawing, bringing back cards from the grave; you can easily get the cards you need for any situation.

My deck is the opposite: it takes a LONG time for me to get my big boss, Gearfried the Swordmaster, to the field (but other times its fast). When I don't have my Iron Knight and Release Restraint, I usually stall with my Marauding Captains. But sometimes I can even create huge problems with cards like Misfortune, Lightning Vortex, Goblin Attack Force and Vanity's Fiend.

You can create lots of problems too, with cards like Ryko and Gragonith (pretty cool cards!wink. And Judgement Dragon is a sure killer.

Goo: Ideas to revive this area? Hmm ... I'll get back to you on that. But for now lets just eat cake. smile

Advantages/Disadvantages, it's fast, so I can wipe out my opponent quickly. Some of it depends on luck, you need a really good hand to get JD out in one turn. One time, during one of the discarding effects of a monster, I was able to pull out three Wulfs in a row. xD
Decking out's always a risk.

Pot of Avarice and ROTA (Reinforcement of the Army) are some other Spells I use, incredibly useful.

And speaking of cards, I'll find the Yu-Gi-Oh! site I was talking about somehow.

NOMNOMNOM cake. Big Grin
