Insecto: Regarding your first post, good point.
Mr_Doomed: Thank you! War is not an easy obstacle to overcome. Let alone get out of. It takes time to develop a strategy with which we can use to get ourselves out of a war, and one that will help the foreign countries who's countries we are occupying, etc. It takes time. It takes effort, and it takes patience.
Whitedragon1995: It's no big deal. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
Dream12: Well you were the one who provoked the use of religion in this topic. If you don't want me to talk about it, don't mention it. Because I'm sure all of know by now that if religion is mentioned, I'll comment about it. Because I think that words like "God!" or "Jesus!" used in a preferable context add more to my post when describing the emotion of such a post.
How is it a "sad" expression?
Insecto: Once again, good post.

Well he's still has Guantanamo open... Why give him one if he's operating a illegal detainee camp... He says he was going to close it in January yet all the prisons he asked have said no.

dream12: No political party in the history of ever has followed up on all of their campaign promises; don't think that whatever candidate you were supporting would have. A platform is meant to be viewed as what the party would do in an ideal situation, not something that they're necessarily going to complete if other issues get in the way. Also, Obama's stance has been clearly pro-choice throughout his campaign and presidency thus far, so I don't know where anyone would get the impression that he's trying to cater to the pro-life side of the debate.

I think that he should use the Nobel Prize as a insentive, not as a reward that he already earned. Which I think he didn't earned the prize yet. He even said he will use it to encourage him to be a better president.

Well, its pretty much just a substitute and versatile word. For example, I say "What the hell" a lot, but I don't believe in hell. Its just a word used to take up space, also known as an expletive.

I'd just like to say that we know who the higher powers are that control the government, they are a group of people known as the Iluminati (There is a 50% chance i spelled that wrong, but still) these people OWN Amarica...i mean they own most of the land, it's thought they consist of certain familys such as the Rocafellas? (Sorry my spelling is off today). So yeah, but don't just listen to me do your own research...

Everyone, just forget my Iluminati theory, it IS kinda wack, but i still maintain that powerful and wealthy people have a great deal to do with politics. Now i haven't really given a straight anwser to the whole Nobel Prize thing so here it is:
Obama should not have been given the Nobel Prize because he is a president of a country that is currently AT WAR. Now you may counter that he is trying to make peace, by pulling out of Iraq and so forth, but all those soldiers being pulled out are just going to be pumped straight into Afganistan, which means there is the same amount of war just in less countrys...
So yeah, that's my opinion.

Rock_for_ever: Well, who's to say that weathly people AREN'T highly influencial in the government?
May I remind you that the two wars in the Middle East that the US and Canada and other nations are fighting in we started up during the BUSH ADMINISTRATION. What? Were these wars supposed to immediately end when Obama took office?
He DID try to get along with the Middle East, did he not?
I want the soldiers to exit the Middle East, and so do their families, but what about the Iraqi's and Afghani's? They're countries are falling apart with the terrorism they have to constantly combat. The insurrgents must be dealt with, because if it's not, terrorism will continue. I think 9/11 was a reminder of that.
Like I said, You CANNOT immediately pull out of a foreign nation who you are fighting a war in! You HAVE TOO devise a plan of action!

Peace can't be proven by awards of some sort such as the Nobel Peace Prize. So far Obama has shown peace so I believe thats how Obama got his award. Obama him self said to the public that he didn't deserve the award......We don't know what the future might hold but for now I believe he both deserves the prize and doesn't deserve a prize.

Can you say both? It is mainly a yes or no question.

As for the prize, I don't think he did anything much to earn it, and he recognizes that himself if I'm not mistaken. I think it was given to him, because he has become a symbol of peace and hope to the world. not saying that's right, but that's probably what got him the prize...
