KAY! If you havent seen Bleach.....your missing out. If you love anime and youve never heard of it I 100% recomend it!
Plot summery:
Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15-year old boy with an angry face. He also has the ability to see ghosts. This brings him trouble when one day, he meets a Death God named Rukia Kuchiki, one who destroys Hollows, destructive beings created from dead people who are left on Earth. In an incident with a Hollow, Rukia transfers her energy to Ichigo, to create him into a Death God. As mysterious new characters arise, Ichigo must learn that the Hollows aren't his only enemy, and to destroy them, he must learn the way of a Death God.
Kurosaki Ichigo is not a regular 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see spirits and ghosts. One day, a female Shinigami (God of Death) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him, hunting for an evil spirit. But during the confrontation, the Shinigami's powers are transfered to Ichigo. Thus begins the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia and their mission to herd Hollows (fallen spirits) as well as confronting other spiritual beings.

Woot, Rukia finally pulls out her Shikai in the manga. If her shikai is this powerful, I can hardly wait for her bankai.
And of course the anime. Hitsugaya is going to release Hyourinmaru's bankai soon with the direction the anime is going.
For those who don't read or watch Bleach, Shikai is the 'first release' of a Zanpaku-to(Soul Slayer) and Bankai is the 'all release' form. Basically, you can't call it Bleach with out the characters running around with their zanpaku-to's.

I watch the anime and read the manga. In fact, I'm still squeeing about the fact that Bleach volume 16 was in shiny glossy coloured pages. *___*

Bleach will be enjoyed by people who like other shonen series, such as naruto, one piece, etc.
Personally, I found it to be a bit cliché of shonen anime. It really could have used a bit more original drama. I found it to be very similar in a lot of ways to Naruto.

I havent actually seen the anime, but I have read a bit of the manga, and it is very awesome. Its got a good story, action, and comedy all roled into one well presented and very cool package.

Rukia's Shikai wasn't that great,
If DeeRoy had jumped to the side to evade its attack, she would have been completely open. instead he jumped up vertically like a fool and got hit by her ice column.
