Having lots of cards in the Deck means a less likely chance that you'll draw a card you need. I saw a person go to my tournament with a 80+ card Deck, and he always had a bad hand and could never draw a card he needed to help him in any situation since he had no apparent theme. Needless to say, he never won a single duel at the tournament. Having lots of cards in the Deck means a less likely chance that you'll draw a card you need. Anyways, it depends on what kind of Deck I want to make, although the most I'll go is around 41-43 cards. Other Deck types that require more speed, such as a traditional Exodia Deck (not using Butterfly Dagger Elma or Manticore of Darkness tricks) or 1 Turn Kill Magical Scientist Deck, I try to keep it at the minimum of 40. If using Magical Scientist, it would contain the usual; Ryu Senshi, Dark Baltar the Terrible, Thousand-Eyes Restrict, 3xDark Flare Knights, 3xSanwitch, 3xEmpress Judge, 3xRoaring Ocean Snake, 3xPunished Eagle (will use 3xDragon Knight of the Dark World: Dark Sword from the Rise of Destiny Set). Fusion Decks revolving around certain monsters, such as Dark Paladin in a Dark Paladin Deck, would obviously contain the Fusion monster itself that the Deck is based on. are you series, 80 cards can win a deck?

no it can not because yoy can not balance it well and you wont have a chance of having good cards in your hand.
I have got 43 cards in my deck.

You do realize that you must have the Deck ready before going to the tournament. You are not allowed to say, bring a 200 card Deck to the tournament, then take out 50 cards and say that's your new Deck all of a sudden. It's the same as not allowed to go through your binder full of extra cards to swap in for cards in your current Deck. The Deck can only have a minimum of 40 or more cards, and a sidedeck of exactly 15 cards, if you wish to do any swapping. So no, you can't add extra cards from your binder or whatever into your main Deck and Sidedeck. If they ever caught you doing that, they'll disqualify you for cheating.
