i read bout wild fires and they are bad. when i grew up i want to be a fire fighter who fights them and stuff. the fires are started by bad peple which cause lots of damage to forests and much else. im sad to see trees die and peple lose thar homes 
what can peple do to help?

Not necessarily. Forest fires can help. There was this park, and every now and then they'd set their trees on fire. It helps the growth. Of course, the fire is sill controlled so the whole forest won't go down.

GOKUNAI is right, not all forest fires/wild fires are a bad thing. some trees need the heat provided by the fires to bloom and distribute seeds.
but if you're refering to the ones in Kelowna...yes, those are wildly out of control...

what can you do? I dont really think theres nuthin you can do once the fire has started. but you can always prevent fires by putting out camp fires, and not playing with fire.

Oh, Do you mean the wildfires in BC?
They are pretty bad.
I don't live there but when I watch the news I feel soo bad. I have realtives there too. I feel bad for anyone who lost their homes and treasured items.

Most forest fires are actually caused by lightning..... so don't go blaming people for them. At least not all the time.

In most cases of Forest Fires Lightning and Dry weather were the culprits. And Majority of the ones set off by humans, are known as a prescribed burns. So, people shouldn't be blamed for making forest fires!
