Ok i'm like the least popular of all grade 6s in my school!My one friend is coolish and we can't fit in and i really don't fit in at all how can i change that?Also we are at the bottom of the social chain and we are weird.We i mean my three BFF's(the other one does)my one friend and i should so we are out of place help plz help!

i had that same problem for 7 years it should bother you that much. sorry if this does help but heres my advice .
focuse on school work and hockey(your playing icehockey this year right) its only the begning of the year so your bound to have some friends that are wothy of you. Your a great person and id diffently be your friend so if the other kids in your class wont be your friends then thats their problem because i dont know whats up their butt, any one hear can easily tell your are a great person and a great friend.

are you in middle school?
don't worry about what others think. i know this may be hard, since our goal in life is to fit in, but in the long run it doesn't really matter. just be nice to everyone, say hello, and move on with your life. surround yourself with a good group of friends, and don't worry about anyone else. believe, in several years from now, people won't remember your embarassments or acomplishments. if they have a problem, they should deal with it. otherwise, just enjoy school and have fun.

Being "popular" izzzz over-rated.
Just keep doin wut you're doin, if you have friends, keep em, if you don't, then accept anyone who triez to be nice to you. Soon enough you'll learn it doesn't make any difference.

hey, whats being popular anyway. the popular kids are really who everyone hates. :P
live how you want. i'm not considered popular but i got friends i know i can count on and trust. thats better than fighting for my place in the social ladder no?
plus, if you're playing hockey (or any sport really) thats a good place to find friends because of they share some interests with you.
the main thing is not to try to be something. as dumb and corny as it sounds, be you, and if people don't like it... oh well 
thats my take on it. it's really not that big of a deal.

If your school is anything like MY school, "Popular" kids start dating in Grade 4 and head all the way to grade six still dating. (Weirdos i'd say) And in the popular group it all like this (I'm useing fake names) (The fake names are province names)

Obviously you likely want to conform a bit, to avoid coming accross as too weird/outcastish, but don't let others control who you are. You have to be yourself and like the person you are. You can't pretend to be something you're not to get everyone to like you(besides, they won't like you, they'll like the person you pretend to be). Its not worth it and it'll drive you crazy. If people don't like you for you, they aren't worth it. Life's to short to waste time living for everyone else. Besides, in the long run it doesn't work. The preppy "popular" circles are full of people talking about each other behind their backs and lying, and in the long run, its definetly not all its cracked up to be.
You're only in grade 6. kids are weird at that age. A few years from now it won't matter who was "cool" and who wasn't, actually, at that age even a few months might not matter. People are fickle. Just make sure you're having fun and you and your friends like who you are and you'll be okay! =)

So much less drama, so much more fun, so much less worries to try and fit in... i had my freinds and they had me and that was all that matterd. But alot of things change at your age to and so did i... i started hanging out with some freinds more then others and i slowly made my way up the popularaty ladder ... but the point of my story isss that try and be happy where you are now and go with the flow, things might change things might not but the important thing is to apriciate your situation now and take as much out of every moment as you can before things do change. so have fun !

Don't sit and mope because the popular kids don't wanna hang with you.That's their loss.But if you really wanna hang with them,prove to them that you have all the qualities it takes to be part of their crowd.I'm one of the popular kids at school,but that's because I know people and I try to be nice to them.Put yourself out there!Have fun!Make them wanna be your friends.Be different.Don't blend in,stand out!That's what I say.Keep them wanting more of what you have to offer.But don't ever change who you are.Not even for the cool kids.They aren't worth sacrificing your individuality.Plus,being popular isn't that much different.You just have more friends and people wanna be around you more often.So as long as you have a friend to support you,a bucket of ice cream,and a good mental status,you'll be alright.
