I hope you clicked on this RPG for one of three reasons;
1. HOLY COW, IT'S ACEBUDDY!!!
2. Hey, I like RPG's
3. BUT SERIOUSLY, IT'S ACEBUDDY!!!
I actually stumbled back here by accident. I mistyped a letter and found myself here, staring my past down. Then I discovered that my account was still active, but it won't be come September. I came to the conclusion that I really miss YTV's RPG scene, and so I'm starting up an RPG. My last RPG. The one RPG to rule them all!!!
...Ok, maybe not, but it'll be pretty awesome. It's also got nothing to do with the new movie "Immortals", in case you were hoping/dreading that. So who's with me? Here's a brief synopsis...
""The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown." Gen. 6:4.
Descending from these angel-human crossbreeds came a race known unto mortal man as "Immortals". Identical to man in appearance, these Immortals possessed frightening powers. Control over the elements, over the minds of men, and even time itself were gifted to these hybrids. But men soon began to fear and loath these demi-gods, and sought to destroy them. Thus many battles were fought in ancient times, until the Immortals were driven close to extinction. However, faced with near annihilation, the Immortals wisely erased the memory of their race from the minds of men, and they soon passed into legend. Yet they survive on today, hiding their gifts from the world. And so it would have continued on, as it had for centuries, if not for the one called David. So maddened by loss and grief, he sought to end the silence of his race. Building up an army, he schemed to travel back in time and change the very fabric of History itself. He would have succeeded, if not for the bravery and strength of the Immortals who saw the need for coexistence, for peace. Their names and deeds are written here, so that one day the world may see these truths and understand the great sacrifices we have made for it."

If there's enough interest (which I dearly hope there will be), I'll elaborate a little more, and give out a character profile template, and rules, and so on and so forth.

Ok, so maybe I need to elaborate first...
This RPG is set in modern day, in a large city called New Norwich (which bears a striking resemblance to New York). David Norsefire is the RPG's main antagonist. He is trying to build up an army of Immortals to travel back in time with him and enslave the humans, making Immortals the dominant race.
A bit more on Immortals;
As their name suggests, they're immortal. They live unnaturally long lifespans, and can't die from sickness or age. They typically stop aging around the mid-twenties to early thirties area (with the possible exception of time manipulators, who can age pretty much whenever they want). They also each have a power that has to do with manipulation of some sort. Time manipulation, element manipulation, mind manipulation, the list goes on. Powers are inherited genetically, so if your parents could manipulate time, you're not going to have control over the elements. Immortals are very "family" oriented--everything that you are, and your social standing among other immortals, is dependent on how strong your blood line is. Other than that, the Immortal society is very loose. Only the older immortals tend to care much about bloodlines.
Anywho, here's a profile template!
Name: Pretty self explanatory. However, if your character has a silly name, they will be mocked in the story (this is your warning :P)
Age: For storyline purposes, nobody is allowed to be older than 500 years. Other than than, you can be anywhere from 16-500
Appearance: What does your character look like? If you want to include what they wear, that's fine
Power: Again, for storyline purposes, nobody is allowed to have the god-modding power of reality manipulation. everything else is fair game (just make sure it's manipulation of some kind!)
Side: Good (the White Lady), Neutral, or Bad (David). I'll elaborate a little more on the White Lady later
L.I/Friends: Is your character in love with anyone? do they have any friends (from other characters)?
Bio: A little background info on who you character is.
I really hope this is something that you yappers can get into!

Appearance: 'Eyes like streams of melting snow' a very nice shade of gray, 5'7", long honey-blonde hair with a strand of pink mixed in, a nice warm skin tone (not too dark but not really white).
Power: Can I do soulreading? It's where you can 'reach' inside a human body and read their soul. If not, that's fine I'll go with Memory manipulation? It really doesn't matter to me which one.
Side: Hayden will be Good, I guess
L.I/Friends: whoever, is fine
Bio: Hayden lived in an unstable home, with only her father and two sisters. He was an alcoholic and was drunk most of the time; he was very abusive and violent when he was drunk, but when he was sober--which was rarely--he was kind and caring. Eventually, Hayden took her two sisters and left him living in a women's shelter for a while.

If you can turn soul reading into some sort of manipulation thing, then yes. Also remember that if Hayden is only 17, she isn't going to be as skilled as, say, Aria.
Alright, here are my characters (which reminds me, I didn't put a limit on the number of characters you can have, but 3 is the max)
Name: Meaghan Fajardo
Age: 160 (looks about 20)
Appearance: fair complexion, average height, with wine red hair. she has green eyes, but a scar across her right eye, permanently closing it. she's self-conscious about the scar, and so hides it behind her bangs.
Power: Time manipulation
Side: Good
L.I/Friends: Whatevs. She's friendly.
Bio: Meaghan doesn't have any memories of her life before she was eight. She lives with her adopted mother Mae, and is going to university for preforming arts. Mae was also a time manipulator, and taught Meaghan how to use her power. As the story progresses, I'll expand on Meaghan's mysterious childhood. Meaghan prefers to stay out of the affairs of the Immortals, and just live her life.
Name: Christian Norsefire
Age: 200
Appearance: Extremely pale, with a mop of messy black hair and pale blue eyes. very thin and sickly.
Power: emotion manipulation
Side: Evil!
L.I/Friends: He's a bit of a loner...
Bio: David's son, Christian has always been a weak and sickly child. He has a bit of a psychotic personality, and is used to getting his way. but underneath that angry, evil shell is just a little boy who wants his daddy to love him.
Let's see if we can get more people in on this.

Aria's Bio: In the early 17th century, she was found in the streets. She was originally a pickpocket with an amazing *cough, her time manipulation, cough* ability. She was adopted into a wealthy family and was to be the heir to the fortune. But when she turned thirteen, her foster parents were killed in a rather suspicious accident. Right before she would be given all rights to her heirloom and title as Countess, she ran away and stopped her aging. Every century or so, she would make an appearance as a magician and manipulate the 'time' of an object. As soon as she became aware of what was happening around her, she kept reappearing in one certain area. But in fear of what would happen if she joined David Norsefire, fear of what may happen to her if she joined the White Lady, and her own fear of being betrayed, she decided to stay neutral.

Her biography is very obviously longer than most of them. Oh well, she pretty darn old.
