So it’s obvious that Vampires are a huge craze right now but do you think the whole Vampire thing is getting a little out of control?
I mean, there’s Twilight, Vampire Diaries and a ton of other Vampire books and series aimed towards teenagers.
NOW, spoofs are being made about Vampires. I am sure you have all heard about the new movie coming to theatres soon – Vampires Suck. Do you think this is a good idea for a movie? Will you see it or would you rather save your money?
Do you like Vampires or do you think it’s time to end the Vamp madness?

I think the first Twilight was enough. Now on NBC and other stations they are playing teenage dramas like twilight. Ive never seen one of the shows nor movies and dont plan to. To be honest the Vampires Suck movie doesnt look that appealing either.
The producers want people to go out to see the movie so they make money, so in the trailer they put the best parts of the movie. In the trailer for Vampires Suck I think thats all I was seeing. The best parts, and I dont want to sit through an hour and a half of boringness.
If the two vampires in twilight werent young fit men then that movie would have half of the popularity of what it is now. I have friends who say they only went to see the movie because they thought the actors were "cute"
I think its out of control, but what can you do. Until the whole craze ends there will be more and more movies.

i do wanna see vampires sucks , but the beiber fever is almost gone, and h1n1 is almost a thing of thepast.. so the next virus that needs to be gone ... is vampire obession virus....
a little info about vampire obession virus ( VOV) .... it is extremely contagious, and the only known vaccine ( pardon my spelling) is hard rock and a good movie ( with out a single vampire unless it is VanHelsing)

ALthought i do vampires in general, the wimpy vampire has got to go. Twilight and the vampire diaries have been a plague on our beloved vampire mythos, swapping suave, sophisticated and/or brutal vampires into sparkly, whimy and just plain girly vampires. Although every once in a while, something cool like True Blood, 30 days of night & Daybreakers show me how cool vampires can be again. Heck, Interview With a Vampire made the sensitive vampire seem cool. Twilight however, sucks dirt though a straw.
That being said, Vampires Suck looks even worse than Twilight itself. Even lloking at the commercial gives me POW-type flashbacks to the other movies these terrible directors have made(Curse you disaster movie...) And if this movie makes more money than Scott Pilgrim(a much, MUCH bettter movie that EVERYONE needs to see), I will go to a corner and cry uncontrollably for the about minimum 2 years.

"For the second week in a row, Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" took first place at the domestic box office, adding another $16 million to its domestic total of $65 million. The film cost $80 million to make, but has yet to be released in many international territories.
Out of all the new wide releases, 20th Century Fox's parody "Vampires Suck," beat them all by taking second place with $12.2 million ($18.5 since Wednesday). The comedy cost $20 million and will easily make its money back."
Okay so, see you guys in 2 years.

oh no, it's not the fact that it's a vampire movie that's angering me, i like vampire movies and shows as long as they do something cool with it. it's that:
1: vampires suck was a movie made by whom i call the two most evil human beings in the universe: aaron seltzer and jason friedberg.
2: With movies vampires suck being a success, and scott pilgrim pretty much bombing, it shows me how much original ideas and concepts are almost always ignored by the general public, which greatly diminishes my faith in humanity.
3: Almost every one, including some of my friends, went to go see this "because it makes fun of twilight." IT doesn't matter how bad the movie is(and considering it's a seltzberg movie, it's practically an abomination), if it makes fun of twilight, they're satisfied.
4: When the cast and crew of the movie hate the movie that they're in, that's a pretty good sign that this movie is terrible. When one of the actors tries to remove his name and any credit of the movie from his resume, that's a pretty good sign.

People loved vampires way before Justin Bieber, but meh.
But Vampires Suck got rated, like, 0% by all the critics. :P
What, are all the critics Twilovers? Or do they hate everything to do with vampires or Twilight in general?
