There's a place called Gamerama Video Games near Yonge and Eglinton that does repairs, but I can't vouch for them because I've never had anything repaired there. Another place that may be worth checking out is A & C Games, the staff there are pretty helpful and awesome.

Mmm. I wouldn't be so desperate to find a repair shop if my parents would say yes to us getting a Wii U. Anyways, thanks for the suggestion.

I think the Wii is better than the Gamecube. Mostly because it can play Gamecube games. It can play N64 games too, but you have to buy them on Virtual Console. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle rocks. Did you know it originally came out for the Dreamcast?
Be advised that the Wii U will NOT play Gamecube games. Chances are they will be available on a Virtual Console like service. Also, the Wii U probably won't be out until Christmas 2012.
