i dont like rebecca black her singing isnt that great and her lyrics dont make sense. i dont listen to the mainstream anymore all their songs are the same. like rebecca black's friday and prom night's beat is very similar.

Okay, when I first saw the video, I laughed. But it was of how cheap the video was. (And also the unexplained reason why that rapper was in the video in the first place) But does this deserve to be called the worst song ever? No. Why?
1: This song isn't all that different from all the bland, Disney Channel, bubble-gum pop infecting the radio airwaves already.
2: There are artists who are far, FAR worse than her.(Soulja Boy, Nickelback, Brokencyde)
PS. If you don't know who Brokencyde is, consider yourself lucky.

I personally do not like her voice or the song. She seems like she's 13 (I don't know her age), but I don't know what kind of 13 year olds "party" on a Friday... Besides the concept I took the time to actually see if she's a decent, I gave her a chance :0 .

I heard Rebecca Black became a millionaire just from the publicity and popularity of "Friday". So I guess it doesn't matter if a song is good or bad, as long as you can attract attention the artist can be rich.

why are u guys such haters? she is a 13 year old girl with a good voice who just wanted to be a famous singer just like a lot of 13 year old girls. so she took an opportuity and used it to record a song. a lot of ppl hated justin beber because his songs were about love and said he should sing about kid stuff, so rebacca sang a song about kid stuff. and now u guys hate that too. wat do u want? like realllyy.
and she did make a lots of money but you should learn more stuff before you judge. she DONATED the money to japan and charity. so finally there is a girl who sings about good stuff and is a roll model and you STILL hate. i think teh prolem is not rebacca but all of you. ppl only hate because they are disapointed with themselves or jealous. so leave rebacca alone

Also, why does he donating the profits from her song have ANYTHING to do with her talent? So she has a good heart, that's great, but I thought this was a discussion about the song Friday and not her personal life.
"Haters" comes along with fame, you can't please everyone and the ones you can't please you have to ignore. So you can defend her all you want but the truth is the "haters" helped a lot in the process of making her famous. So by saying "leave her alone" is basically telling us to stop making her popular.

Also a lot of people hater because she is so arrogant that she believes she is good, when the ratings, comments, etc. say otherwise. Face it the song is terrible, and the only reason she is still going to be around is because her father will buy her another record deal if this one fails.
