So I was reading these boards and they looked pretty bare so I made a topic on my fave book.So have you read the series and seen the movie?I have done both plus I read his new book the red pyramid and I can't wait for his new book coming out in october.You can even read 2 chapters of it on his site.Rick Riordan makes you cling to the book with cliff-hanging chapters in fact I was so hook ed I finished the last olympian in 2 hours.He has a great writing style that many authors could learn from*cough Stephanie Meyer cough*So what do you think,post here.

nice hockey, very subtle....
i truely cant wati for october becasue of the second camp hlaf blood seires is coming out, but i didn't know you could read the first 2 chapters... * surfing the web to find them* .... the movie was good( okay amazing) but it didn't follow the story line... oh well.
When i read the last chapter of the fifth book it was tempted to throw the book out, but then i read there was going to be a new seires..

I just bought all four books, but I haven't read any yet. I need to finish the other series of books I'm reading. It's good to hear that it's a good series though.

Ah, I haven't read this, (don't hate me) But I have seen the movie (Don't hate me more) But before I saw the movie I really wanted to read it, but it was always taken out at the library and some one in class always had it. But curently I am thie tenth hold on it so I hope to be reading it soon.
It looks really good someone in my class did a book talk on it and thats how I found out about it. So I really hope to read it soon :0

Ah I looove these books! They're very fun, fast paced, and an easy read. My friend just ordered the softcover box set for me from Scholastics ($20 heck yes! <3) and I am very excited to reread them when they arrive. I also LOVED the Red Pyramid and cannot wait for the next one!
Saw the movie too, it was alright. I enjoyed it but it wasn't amaaaazing.
