i think yugi would win cause 1) he's the king of game and a legendary duelist and 2) he has the egyptian god monster. but that's my opinion cause who knows. jaden might win if he's lucky enough to get the right cards to win and prays that yugi doesn't summmon any one of the god monster.

I wouldn't judge them by cards, but by personality.
Did you ever realize that Jaden has no clue on what he is doing?
He saved the world from evil! Yugi has clear idea on what he is doing: fighting bad guys and finding out about the "pharoah". Yugi would win because he knows what he is and is not as sloppy as Jaden.
That means that Yu-Gi-Oh GX is better than Yu-Gi-Oh. The main character Jaden Yuki is just like us, a school kid. Yugi is some egyption guy who is nothing like a school kid. Jaden is just like us and is turning out like a Hero.

i would have to disagree. i think yugi always plans out what his next move is in advance, therefore winning most of his duels. jaden...well he doesn't know anything.

I seriously pick Yugi because of his skills and abilities. Jaden has a slim to none chance of winning. That's my opinion.

I don't know, If they did duel it out, I HONESTLY think it come as a tie. Yugi is good but, Jaden is just as skilled, especially with all his elemental heroes and Sky Scraper field card, he would have a very good chance agents Yugi.
Also, Jaden defeated all his enemies in the shadow games, (which could be deadly for those who don't know) and he tied with Zan I think in the final duel of the year in season 1. ^_-

Well,the strongest card in Yugi's deck is Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning with 3000 ATK,but if Jaden managed to summon Elemental Hero Electrum,Electrum's effect would rise its ATK to 3200,destroying Yugi's monster.

Jaden is a sloppy, happy-go-lucky schoolboy, and How many tournaments has Yugi been in? Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, and he was stuck in a game an had to duel his way out. 3!
Also, Jaden doesn't know the game as good as Yugi, Jaden rellys on luck to win his battles, Yugi doesn't need luck as he has not only 3 ejyptian gods, but a buttkicking deck that got them.
I personally hate the new cards and ideas, nothing socks it to 'em like a good ol' Dark Magic attack or a White Lighting to the face.

Parosa you remind me of the episode of Jaden facing Seto Kaiba.
Jaden lost big time, but Seto Kaiba wasn't as harsh as to when he beat Yugi in Duelist Kingdom.

This isn't even a contest...Parosa-san is right over here....
All these new cards and totally weird0 schemes new cards and duelists bring up...are totally pwned by the fundementals of a good hard smack in the face from a real duelist....
Joey may be out of hand and a bit lucky, as is Jaden, but at least every now and then he applies heart to his strategies like Yugi...

I think Jaden would win or yugi because they are both good duelists. I think yugioh gx is 10 times better than yugioh because it is not so boring like yugioh with the egyptian theme though out the seasons, The cool duel school on an island makes it exciting and fun!
