never use 50+cards in ur deck, it will make it hard to draw the cards u really need, limit it to 40,45at the most.u mite say its a otk but there arnet many and the good ones r real slim to get out(unless u rig ur deck lol).get rid of nomi monsters, get rid of a few spells and traps, and choose a deck theme ex.cyber dragon or gadget.

Chimeratech OTK decks have never made a top 8 showing in Shonen Jump Championship tournaments ever since Overload Fusion was restricted to 1 in the Mar. 1 Forbidden List. Also beatdown decks where you pack a deck full of 1900 atk non effect monsters aren't strong either, as the top decks run lots of monster removal and control cards that can take them out. I wouldn't even call your deck beatdown, as you have a couple weak monsters, such as Cycroid, Cyber Kirin, Searchlightman, etc.
For a Chimeratech Overdragon deck, or Machine deck in general, 1 Cyber Dragon is not good enough. Future Fusion requires a Cyber Dragon in the deck so it can be sent to the Graveyard, and Overload Fusion requires Cyber Dragon on the field/Graveyard so it can be removed from play. For example, you might draw Future Fusion, but it's useless if your Cyber Dragon is already in your hand/field/Graveyard. Yeah I know you have Proto-Cyber Dragon, but it's only treated as Cyber Dragon while on the field, which makes it a viable target for Overload Fusion only.

Now judging by your deck, I see no banned cards, so I assume you want to stick with the Advanced Format Forbidden List. Some of the cards you're playing are too situational, or dependent on certain cards, or just doesn't belong in the deck at all. Y-Dragon Head has no place in this deck except for a XYZ Dragon Cannon Deck. Power Capsule is a dead card if you don't have Victory Viper XX03 on the field.
You're running too many tributes, and lack monsters that build field presence or control spell cards such as Snatch Steal. Cards like Spikebot and Mystical Knight of Jackal and Rescueroid are dead cards if you can't keep monsters on the field for tributing, or play cards like Brain Control to take your opponent's monster and tribute them. I also don't see why you would want to play tributes like Spikebot and Mystical Knight of Jackal. Spikebot is a lvl 5 1800 Atk monster with no effect.
There are lots of monsters that have 1900 atk that are only lvl 4 and can be Normal Summoned, and can easily take out Spikebot. Mystical Knight of Jackal, well requires 2 tributes and doesn't fit the machine theme. If you wanna play a machine deck, especially with Chimeratech and the obvious 3x Cyber Dragons, you should run cards like Jinzo and Cyber Phoenix and such. Jinzo negates traps, Cyber Phoenix protects your machines from being targeted by spell/trap cards.

Since Chimeratech OTK decks have lost alot of power due to Overload Fusion being restricted to 1, it's better to go with a main deck type that uses Cyber Dragons and machines as it's sub-type, so that it gets an alternate win condition. Gadget decks can do this, as the Gadget monsters themselves are machines. Gadget decks provide a +1 advantage, in that each time you summon 1 to the field, you get another to add from your deck to your hand.
Being machines, along with Cyber Dragon, can help become fuel for Chimeratech Overdragon. A Bazooper Return deck can use Card Troopers and Cyber Dragons, and also use Chimeratech as an alternate win condition. Card Troopers are machines that can power up to 1900 by sending up to 3 cards to the Graveyard from the deck, and provide a card draw if ever they are destroyed.

With mostly monsters in the deck, Card Trooper can send monsters to the Graveyard to help fuel for Bazoo the Soul Eater's powerup effect. The monsters (some of it being machines and Cyber Dragon) in the Graveyard, can also serve to be used with Overload Fusion for Chimeratech Overdragon. Future Fusion also helps mill monsters to the Graveyard which can then be used for Bazoo's powerup effect.
Bazoo can potentially become a level 4 Summoned Skull that takes out Monarchs and Jinzo and such. Plus with the monsters removed from play due to Bazoo or Overload Fusion's effect, you can play cards like Dimension Fusion, return your monsters to the field that have been removed from play, and attack your opponent with your swarm of monsters. Also hmm, why call your deck Cyber Gadjiltron Re-Volt when you aren't even running Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon or Gadgets and such?

If you want to run a more consistent deck that can potentially use Chimeratech Overdragon as it's trump card, here is a Gadget variant. I'll post a Bazooper Return deck in the next post if you want to go with that, as it can be quite powerful, but also note it's very expensive. The Gadget build would be the cheaper deck if you're tight on money.
Monsters: 1. Jinzo 2. Cyber Dragon 3. Cyber Dragon 4. Cyber Dragon 5. Red Gadget 6. Red Gadget 7. Red Gadget 8. Yellow Gadget 9. Yellow Gadget 10. Yellow Gadget 11. Green Gadget 12. Green Gadget 13. Lol, do I look like a money tree to you? Do you see those twenties just fluttering away? NO! I can't use Jinzo or another Chimeratech or any of those cards because:
1. Nobody on my street has cards 2. I'm a paper boy and i'm not using my paycheck just for some cards I don't need cause my deck is strong enough as it is. 3. I'm doing Hobby League, not Shonen Jump Tournament, okay? 4. I rely on machines, not those gadjet cards. 3 of each gadjet? Thats foolish. 5. I see you guys always giving me advice, as though i'm a newb in Yu-Gi-Oh. 6. I don't have a lot of machine cards, because 'ive relied on Warriors in the past few years. 7. I'm not switching to Warriors again.
Okay? I'm saving up for a bike. Plus, I practise Yu-Gi-Oh! every day after school and on the weekends. It's either this deck works for me, or I get more advice untill my head explodes! I guess I can try to take away my deck's large amount of cards and replace them with more accurate cards. All I hope is that I make the right choice.

Gadgets are a +1. You summon 1 Gadget, get another from your deck to your hand. If your opponent wipes out your gadget on the field, you still have another monster in hand to use. Plus if your hand is full of Gadgets from using their effect, they can be used as discard food for cards like Snipe Hunter and Lightning Vortex. Gadgets, being machine, makes them perfect with cards like Limiter Removal, as well as with Future Fusion/Overload Fusion to make Chimeratech Overdragon.
Gadget Decks also run tons of monster removal for bigger monsters that Gadgets can't take out, so they can kill weaker monsters or attack directly. A Blue-Eyes White Dragon is nothing when you play Smashing Ground to wipe it out, then summon a Gadget and attack directly, and get another in your hand. On average, most decks run 16-20 monsters, and a Gadget Deck plays around 12-15 monster removal cards that can take them out. For the rest of the monster lineup, Jinzo is in for it's trap negation, Snipe Hunter can take out monsters/spells/traps.
Gadgets being Earth, work well with Gigantes. Remove an Earth monster from the Graveyard from play to Special Summon Gigantes, who has 1900 Atk. If Gigantes is destroyed in battle, it performs a Heavy Storm effect. Drillroid destroys Def Position monsters and doesn't apply damage calculation, Exiled Force destroys face-up and face-down monsters, and Neo-Spacian Grand Mole can bounce monsters back to their hand, such as a tribute which will force them to try and tribute for it again.

For the spell lineup. Future Fusion and Overload Fusion are obvious due to Chimeratech Overdragon. Card Trader will allow you to place extra Gadgets in your hand back into your deck, shuffle it and draw a new card. Spell/trap removal, Snatch Steal, and revival with Premature Burial are all obvious choices.
Smashing Ground x3, Shrink x3 and Lightning Vortex (which can use an extra Gadget in hand as discard) takes out opponent's monsters. Nobleman of Crossout takes care of facedowns if your opponent goes on the defensive. Limiter Removal can double the Atk of Jinzo, Cyber Dragons, Gadgets, Cyber Phoenixs, and Drillroids. Pot of Avarice will cycle monsters from your Graveyard back into your deck and draw 2 new cards.
For the traps, Mirror Force, Ring of Destruction and Torrential Tribute are all obvious inclusions for monster removal. Pulling the Rug is important in the current metagame, as it counters alot of monsters played in today's decks, such as Monarchs, ritual searchers in Demise OTK, Elemental Hero Stratos, Gadgets, etc. Solemn Judgment protects your cards by negating the summon of a monster, or activation of a spell/trap card and destroys it.

Here are some reasons why some of these cards don't work/aren't good and should be out of the deck.
Monsters:
Ancient Gear Soilder Cyber Kirin (Bad. You lose 1 card on the field to stop effect damage, which mostly comes from Burn decks. It won't do anything to stop battle damage.) Cyber Laser Dragon (Bad. A nomi monster that requires 2 Cyber Dragon tributes and Photon Generator Unit. It will probably get it's effect off once/twice before it's destroyed by a monster removal. Once in the Graveyard, you can't Special Summon it except by it's Special Summon requirement.) Proto-Cyber Dragon Patroid X2 (Bad. More suited for a Roid Deck, weak Atk, and looking at 1 set card isn't much.) Spikebot (Bad. Requires 1 tribute, and a weak 1800 Atk for it's level, no useful effect.) Searchlightman (Bad. Easily destroyed, your opponent will most likely have set his cards on Main Phase 1 before attacking in the Battle Phase, rendering it useless.) Victory Viper XX03 (Bad. Requires to destroy a monster as a result of battle to get it's effect. Has low attack and won't take out much of today's monsters.) Mystical Knight Of Jackal (Bad. Requires 2 tributes and doesn't fit the Chimeratech theme.) Cyber Dragon (You say this is a Chimeratech Deck, get 2 more.) Rescueroid X2 (Bad. Requires 1 tribute, 1600 Atk, effect limited to Roid monsters, which you're playing little of. Would be better in a Roid Deck.) Machine King Prototype Cyber Archfiend X2 (Bad. Fiend, not a Machine, and it's effect promotes bad hand management.) UFO Turtle (Bad. You have no 1500 Atk or less Fire monsters in the deck.) Cycroid (Bad. Weak 800 Atk, no effect.) Y-Dragon Head (Bad. Effect only associated with X-Head Cannon.)

Spells:
Overload Fusion Photon Generator Unit (Bad. As said before, Cyber Laser Dragon ain't all that great, requires 2 Cyber Dragons as tributes.) Future Fusion Meteor Of Destruction (Bad. This isn't a Burn Deck, plus card is useless when opponent has less than 3000 Life Points.) Premature Burial Creature Swap Luminous Spark (Bad. There isn't alot of Light monsters in the deck, Atk boost is negligible, can easily be taken out by spell/trap removal cards. It's better to go with monster removal.) Limiter Removal Card Of Safe Return (Bad. Only useful in a Zombie, Phoenix, or Manticore/Exodia Deck. This deck doesn't play lots of Special Summoning from the Graveyard effects to take advantage of this card.) Monster Reincarnation Nobleman Of Crossout Swords Of Revealing Light Power Capsule (Bad. Limited to Victory Viper, dead useless card when you don't have Victory Viper on the field/hand.) De-Fusion (Iffy. Remember that if Proto-Cyber Dragon was used in the Fusion Summon, it doesn't get Special Summoned. Also if used for Chimeratech Overdragon, you must have enough vacant monster card zones available for ALL fusion material monsters used.) Spell Absorption (Bad. Life points is minimal, and this isn't a Spell Counter Spellcaster Deck that plays lots of spell cards.) Mesmeric Control (Bad. Unless you're playing against something like Clown Control, your opponent will most likely have his monsters in the position he wants them to be on his next turn.) Magical Mallet Fusion Gate
|
Traps:
Jar Of Greed Coffin Seller (Bad. Life Point damage is minimal, some deck types don't play alot of monsters or even uses card effects where monsters are removed from play instead.) Sakuretsu Armour Shadow Spell (Bad. It would be better to go with another Sakuretsu Armor than this card.) Ritual Sealing (Bad. Very useless if playing against a deck with no ritual monsters, such as Perfect Circle, Bazooper, Gadget, etc. Yeah I know Demise OTK is being played alot now, but if Demise OTK is giving you trouble, it's better to go with Pulling the Rug. Pulling the Rug can counter alot of decks besides Demise OTK.) Call Of The Haunted Altar For Tribute (Bad. Unless you're playing Fire Princess Burn or a Sky Sanctuary Deck, the Life Point gain is useless. Plus you're giving up 1 monster on the field, and your opponent can easily attack you directly next turn.) Ray Of Hope (Bad. If you want a card with similar effect, it's better to go with superior cards such as Pot of Avarice or Transmigration Prophecy.) Negate Attack (Bad. Unless you're playing a Counter Fairy Deck, it's better to go with Threatening Roar than this card, as it can be chainable in the Main Phase. Negate Attack has to wait till your opponent attacks, and it can be bad if your opponent attacks with something like Wildheart or Mirage Dragon.) Royal Decree (Bad, if you're gonna keep lots of traps in the deck.) Torential Tribute Lightforce Sword (Bad. If you want hand disruption, it's better to go with Confiscation, where you can see your opponent's hand and pick what you want to be discarded.) Gift Of The Mystical Elf (Bad. Life Point gain is minimal, and except for a Chimeratech/Dimension Fusion combo, at most on average, you'll only have around 1-2 monsters on the field at a time.)

Tankytank, do you still think Gadgets suck or shouldn't be run in 3s? Look at the current results of last week's Canadian Nationals 2007 held in Toronto. I beg to differ on that comment. A Gadget Deck is pretty cheap compared to other top tier decks like Perfect Circle, Bazooper Return, etc. If you were to netdeck Dexter Dalit's build, pretty much most of the cards are either commons or rares. And if you don't care about holos, you can get some of the reprint commons that you find in structure decks (such as Enemy Controller being an Ultra Rare in Ancient Sanctuary Set, but got reprinted as a common in Machine Re-Volt Structure Deck).
If you know a card shop that sells commons for cheap, like 50 cents each, you could try getting those as well instead of buying booster tins, packs and structure decks. But whether you want a Gadget or a Machine deck in general, and plan to use Chimeratech Overdragon or Cyber End Dragon, you definitely need 3x Cyber Dragons. Only 1 just won't cut it. If a store still has any, try to pick up a Cyber Dragon Booster Tin, or try your luck on the Zane Truesdale packs. Upperdeck is also currently releasing new Jaden and Syrus Structure Decks. If we're lucky, maybe they'll release a Zane Truesdale Structure Deck several months from now.
