what are you talking about? Yugioh isn't over(otherwise there wouldn't be a Genex). the first side of the story may be over but the story of Yugioh in general will be continuing on as long as Kazuki keeps writing^^

Frankly, Kazuki indeed stops drawing Yugioh. He's not the one who makes GX.
Anyway, I've seen the first episode of GX already. Let's just say, I'm glad I saw Yugi again, even though that may be his only appearance in GX.
Love Atem. Don't care about other series. -_-

I was chattting with a visitor to my page a while ago, about why the comic for Yugioh was ending. My initial response is that Takahashi looked like he was getting tired. Take a good, honest look at the monsters and such that were coming out toward the end of the series. Isis' Monsters? Malik's Monsters, especially things like Juragedo? He's drawn a LOT in the last six years.

The underlying plotline of the story was "Just who is the soul in the Puzzle? And why is he there?" Since Takahashi answered both of those questions, there was no real reason to continue the series as it was.

There were clues that he wanted to end the comic in the prologues of some of the more recent graphic novels in Japan -- he mentioned wanting to "travel the world next year and see how Yugioh is accepted in other countries" and "the place that I most want to go in the world is Egypt."

It is just Yu-Gi-Oh GX.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters is over (in Japan)
Think of it this way,
GX is to YuGiOh like GT is to Dragonball...
It will not have anything to do with the original Mangaka(artist/writer) and it will end up worse than the preceding series.
Trust me, it will end up worse than YGO M.
So enjoy the remaining arcs for DM.

So far I only know basic Info of about 6 episodes and so far it's basicily in a duel training school things better improve or I just gave up on Yugioh.
