^well, we don't quite know if smallville will go to season 7. yes, the writers may have said that they would not make any more than 7 seasons, but it may stop at six if the ratings go down.
i think at the end of smallville, they should conclude it with a "made for tv" movie that sort of begins his whole Superman thing.

well in the comics, Clark traveled the word before he moved to metropolis and became superman. i think they may show his travels as training.
