I personally believe that Digimon was the best television show that YTV had ever aired. It all comes down to opinions, but for me to like a show when I was five, six, or seven, and still like it today? That must be a good show. I don't know if YTV simply can not air Digimon seasons 1 - 3 for a certain reason anymore, like what happened with Sailor Moon, but Digimon was my all time favorite show when I was five, and remains so today.

I agree. Digimon was so cool back when I was younger. The toys were great too. I like season 1 better, I don't mind season 2 but after that it got too complicated with way too many digimons and ways to digivolve. So YTV doesn't air it anymore? I didn't know that. I too hope they bring it back.

I was really little when it came on so i didnt really remeber it until i looked it up and began to watch it and in my opinion its one of the beat shows ytv aired.
P.S why dont they air sailor moon any more

I remember them saying a reason on why they could not air Sailor Moon anymore. I can't remember what it was. It had something to do with not having something...

Why wouldn't they cancel the TV shows? Despite how much we may like Digimon, Sailor Moon, etc...these shows are just too old. It's like asking, "Why not bring back the super old shows? Like the REALLY REALLY OLD Spiderman? Inspector Gadget? Pink Panther?" Would you watch these?
Probably not. Why? Because those shows (Spiderman, Inspector Gadget, Pink Panther...) weren't from OUR generation, and chances are, we won't like it as much as the kids from the 80s would. That's the same idea with bringing back Digimon/Sailor Moon/etc. Although WE may like it, kids from 2000-2010 may not. They've been exposed to shows that are quite different than what we were...
It's a shame though, wouldn't you agree?
And of course, I'm not saying this is the case for EVERY SINGLE KID. I'm sure if you suggested a few of these shows to younger kids these days, they would like it...but...you know. Times are a changin' and I guess TV industries are just trying to find shows that appeal with kids these days.
Also, I think if YTV wants to air certain shows, they have to have certain rights to it, as YTV doesn't actually own all of them...so they would have to go to the companies and talk with them and what not. However, that might be a bit more trouble than what it's worth. Again, I guess that is how TV Industries work.
Also, I think YTV changed significantly after 2000. I don't think it was owned by Corus Entertainment until then.
I don't know if this is the case, but that is what I am thinking.
