Tip of the Week
Wave Dashing. A wonderful thing if you can use it right. It's sort of like a roll, except with near infinite possibilities.
How do you do it? Simply jump, then dodge downwards (and at an angle) right away. If done properly, your character should slide without the jumping animation! Luigi does it the farthest, so try him out.
But that's a very mini description. Go search it up on the internet to see its full potential.

Hoo, boy.
The update just came out about 50 minutes ago, and already it's all over Gamefaqs... (I played cards with my parents and sister to pass the time)
The background is black.
Ooh! Scary, ain't it?
The update's called This World...
I'll explain it in detail.
1st PIC
A floating colloseum (appears to be floating over a meadow)
In this world, trophies fight
Ooh. So that means the characters are trophies (sorta implied in SSBM...)
2ND PIC
Mario as a trophy dropping in the colloseum.
3RD PIC
Mario's glowing...
4TH PIC
Kirby flying up on... a Warpstar? Or falling down on a glowing trophy stand.
They know nothing but fighting. Fighting is the sole reason for their existence.
5TH PIC
Showdown: Mario vs. Kirby
Being turned back into a trophy, being unable to fight, is much like death.
6TH PIC
Mario standing with a grim look on his face, holding out his hand. Under his hand is... a trophy of Kirby (GASP!
7TH PIC
Camera's on Kirby (non-trophy-fied), with Mario's leg in front of Kirby.
8TH PIC

The sky turns blood red... the Halberd is seen looming over the colloseum they're in. (The Halberd is Meta Knight's ship, btw)
When someone...or something...breaks those rules, the world will pay a terrible price...

Some weird thing surrounded by a purple aura appears in the colloseum. It looks like it's wearing a white, short, cylindrical hat. Its head is black. Its red eyes are in the middle of its head. Under its head is a white collar. It has a red stick sticking out of his head. It's torso looks brown, with a strange symbol in the middle. It wears boxing gloves.
Imagine a Bob-omb wearing a hat with a stick on it, with a body and boxing gloves and you've got this picture.

Um...I think I just accidentaly posted a post...so this could be a second one (If the mods post my little half-post) So I'll continue...
I got WW, played for 2 days, am on part in which you conduct Medli (sp?) the earth god's song thingy...
Anyways, I finally started checking the SSBB website...and believe me, when it comes out, I'll have camped out by a games store! Lol...
Moving on....I vote; -3...whoever's in first...I totally got lost on the standings after you decided not to update...
My poll vote; I think you should change the rules a bit and then definitly put another topic in! I mean, I think people will eventually get bored of voting the same way all the time (hence, I made my Gc Games Awards topic differently..) but I'd like it this way too...but put me down as the last choice.
Let thy power of thy games...over powerth thy when it comes to fun...that..is the mystery in life...lol.

After this topic's done (I'll maybe post a bit after anyways), I'll start a SSBM Elimination: Wave 2 Discussion topic. Like, we just talk about how it'll be set up and junk. And that's where I'll probably post the SSBB news and stuff temporarily.

Today's update is Rumble Falls, which, I assume, is DK's stage. Or is one of his. It's basically a jungle version of Icicle Mountain. You keep going up. There's a waterfall, and apparently something after you reach the top of the waterfall... hm...
