OK i admit it, I reallly like the Goo Goo dolls. trust me, my favourite song is by them, you know the one in the city of angals soundtrack, iris. theyve been around since 1990 and the lead singer, john rzeznik, is my mom's age, 42. creepy to think that some people think he's HOT! he's absoluely not. (lol, i rhyme!

I'm pretty sure they've been around since before the 90's... Johnny Rzeznik is a good singer, however I don't like Robby Takac's singing.
I do like the band though. Iris[Dizzy Up The Girl] and Black Balloon[Dizzy Up The Girl] are great songs. However, Let Love In, they're most recent offering is kind of disappointing in my opinion...
As for your comment about Johnny Rzeznik, I'm a guy, so I have no idea whether or not he's "hot", but the way you say it, you make him sound ugly... He looks fine as far as I can tell[Like I said, I have no idea if he's "Hot", but he isn't ugly...], not to mention he looks way younger than forty-two. If someone showed me his picture[assuming I didn't know who he was] and told me to guess his age, I'd guess late twenties/early thirties...

jchansfan,... i did? sorry if i made it sound like that, i didnt intend to.
fyi to all the people who said they liked the goo's- the other day i was @ my friends house and she plays the guitar and she had a book on some of the best guitar songs and the music to them. there were about 30-35 songs and amoung them was iris. she promised to learn that song and play it for me for my b-day. (the last comment you guys seiously didnt have to know but i am just sooo happy shes gonna learn it 4 me!

I like the Goo Goo Dolls, but I always thought their name was kinda weird. My favourite songs right now are Stay With You and Better Days. I really liked their music video for Better Days.

i dont have any of their albums, jchansfan (by the way, where did you get your name from?), but i downloaded their let love in cd. you're right, tommy...however you spell his last name doesn't have a very good voice and the songs he writes are kinda weird. oh yeah, there's this other song from gutterflower (i absolutely LOVE that album name) called big machine that i only like a few lines from. i betcha theres still copies of that cd somewhere @ music world... since the last time i checked, i think.

yeah, i forgot to say: the song better days is a christmas song. it really isnt, but it is considered one so they only play it on the radio during the holidays, jchansfan. it's a really nice song.
"I wish everyone was loved tonight and somehow stop this endless fight. just a chance that maybe we'll find better days"-the goo goo dolls[better days] (sorry if you feel as if im copying you. i wont do it anywhere else but here.)
