I don't know what you mean when you say "what happened to the Start your Engines contest?" since it's not over yet and, according to the rules, it won't be over until October 31.
So, of course you didn't win! There are no winners yet! So there is still hope for you to get a nice price

When you ask why they don't announce the winners, are you speaking of Start your Engines? If so, there will only be one grand prize winner, who will be chosen October 31. In the meantime, there are many instant prizes you can win if you have a winning code. I haven't entered the contest, but I know you can get a code in specially marked packages of assorted flavor Mini-Airheads and large seasonal bags of assorted flavor Mini-Airheads, since it is written in the contest rules.
As for Ride the Turbulence, I still don't know what happened. It's been over 2 months, and nobody knows what happened. It is written in the FAQ that it can take months before they can reveal the winners. I think it's way too long, and that maybe they shouldn't organize so many contests at a time if they can't take care of one within a week, like the other contests I have entered on other websites.

They are supposed to announce the winners of every one of their contests, Phantom 46. If you go check in the contests section, there are the lists of the past winners. But right now, the Start Your Engines contest winners have not been posted yet, and probably won't be on for a while. You remember what happened with the Ride the Turbulence contest, right?
