hey.....ummmmmmmmm.........well krypton there new characters in yugioh gx n so they kinda change the story a bit. n umm.....now jaden yuki is gonna become the new king of games now. so therefore we may not see yugi n his gang. don't ur not the only one who was disappointed. but u noe we can get now these characters too. don't cha thing?

GX is a whole new serie.
All the characters are totally different and I think syrus has yugi moto voice.

yugioh gx is like pokemon chronicals it's a sidestory actually the season after yugioh waking the dragons is yugioh grand championships i watched the 3,4,5 and sixth episode and tommorow i will watch the 7 and 8 episode

Actually, i think that the person they showed at the beginning of the first show was Yugi Muto...but thats just what i think. My brother says this is like a 100 years later and they all died, but i dont trust his judgement. lol.

Yugioh GX is just a branch off of the original series that features the new cards used in the new sets. YGOGX is just a big marketing thing, because if you notice, pretty much every card they use in that show is real, or will be real soon. The original series wasnt even supposed to be about the cards, but look what happened.

1. It's not shining Kuriboh but Winged Kuriboh and
2. It's not 100 years or else u wouldn't see Yami/Yugi (It's probably 10 or so years into the future)

While the 4Kids CEO says that it's 100 years into the future, it REALLY is only 10 years into the future.
Yugi is only seen in 1-2 episodes, & Seto is in a couple episodes as well. Otherwise, none of the original characters in YGO are in GX.
At least so far.
