ok when u forst watch an anime its usually funny *sometimes they arent*but then after a while it starts getting more serious and depressing and theres barly anymore funny stuff!
Some examples are.....Naruto, Inuyasha,Full metal Alchamist, and i cant think of any others -.-
* if u kno any animes that start off funny and stay funny then could you please tell me *

Well, that's usually due to plot development.
Most comedy anime stays on the funny side, like Excel Saga (Though the last 3 episodes get plot and it gets...serious doesn't really cut it.) Ouran High School host Club stays pretty funny to.
Inuyasha's a joke. The filler totally tones it down.

Ah yes... I have noticed that too... But when it gets more serious the anime all together seems better... Still there will be funny moments every once in a while but that's just anime. If you want a manga that's funny through out the whole thing try Azumanga Daioh. That's hilarious throughout the whole series
