Ill lay this out in steps.
1: NO PERSONAL INFO!
2: Dont go saying "what is my sisters name?" and "what is my name?" and "how old am I?" and "where do I live?"
3: For a contest, make sure your not giving away the chip. Some people make a topic about 'Winning ShockHelm' and turn out becuase they really like it, they close it. Make sure yo want to get rid of the chip or have it in a contest.
4: Spaming. This gets me every time. Ive seen alot of contest topics that says 'Win this buy guessing so and so' and people post their guesses. Ive seen a topic where one member *name anonomous* postsed 20 times in a row to try and win. :facepalm:
5: Dont bump the old contests. Ive seen the 'Win BlasterHelm' one come up from the boards and it was like a year old. L2000 was the winner.
6: Dont make a contest of chips you dont have. Once they win you will expect the chips and he/she will say, "Sorry. Once i get those chips i will give them to you."
7: This bugs me (and YM's) alot. DO NOT MAKE 4 OF THE SAME TOPIC! ITS OK IF IT DIED BUT TO MAKE 4 IN A ROW ON THE SAME DAY? NO! IT TAKES A WHILE FOR THE TOPIC TO GET THROUGH! Dont go saying, "My topic didnt get through. Mine aswell make another so it does!" Later when you know it, there if 4 of your topics sitting there.

I've seen soo many useless
Contests. With questions asking "where do I live"
and other dumb questions like that.
