I am saying DS because I haven't tried PSP personally. I have see reviews and stuff and I like the graphics but I don't like how your have to buy the movies to be able to see them on there. Also that the games are about the same price as Gamecube games...

Duh, the PSP! I'm not explaning why it's better again because I've been braging about it for ever. Just do yourself a favor and spent the extra $100 for the PSP, it's worth it's wating goal.

hey, spark x, where was i supposed to put my debate?
If i put it in playstation general then it would be toward the psp.
Besides, i'm a die hard nintendo fanatic!
want me to put this debate in SEGA general?
P.S. I know sega general does not exist.
anyway while i'm here i will say my vote.
DS Obviously sparky!
because a video game system should only be a game player. not 4 dvds or cds!

i'd say its a tie because DS is touch-screen(which is really cool) but on a psp you can play games, listen to music, look at pictures and you can watch movies(which is also really cool.)

PSP is better... by a longshot.... sad....
But people who say the DS sucks have a good reason.
1. There isn't that much of a use for the Touch Screen (yet) 2. The PSP also has the alarm, clock, PLUS it can play MP3s and stuff...
and I forgot.

DS. the Psp's games AND graphics are good, but they just don't really... Give you a good feeling. The PSP is just popular because it has a DVD player and music player.

G_master what about gamepad?Or Games General? They all fit in and by the way PSP has built in online connections but no PSP Online games yet I own DS and PSP I pefer my PSP then my DS becuase I can't play games for free on DS but PSP has infered connections allowing lets say my friend Jak and his friend Daxter want to play the same game but daxter has the game but Jak doesn't what do they do go into infered and click connect and your friend Jak plays that game until the PSP is turned off.Can DS do that?Nope. Also PSP can download themovies from the head office Sony for $10 and save it on your memory card or you can dowload your own music from your Computer.Better Graphics cooler funictiond PSP vs.DS=PSP.I can't say DS isn't good but PSP is better in my case.

by the way PSP has built in online connections but no PSP Online games yet
No, you are wrong. The PSP does has some online games. Such as Gretzky NHL, Twisted Metal: Head-On, NBA, Metal Gear Acid, Mercury, and ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails.
I own DS and PSP I pefer my PSP then my DS becuase I can't play games for free on DS but PSP has infered connections allowing lets say my friend Jak and his friend Daxter want to play the same game but daxter has the game but Jak doesn't what do they do go into infered and click connect and your friend Jak plays that game until the PSP is turned off.Can DS do that?Nope. The only "free" games that support this feature are a few racing titles, but nonetheless I still like this concept.
Also PSP can download themovies from the head office Sony for $10 and save it on your memory card or you can dowload your own music from your Computer. Good luck, I wonder much money would you need to spend on buying Memory Sticks after saving movies off of it?

True and their are other online titles but I'm sorry I posted that paticular part was given to me from it's offical website and I should have noticed the thing that says last updated because it says Febuary 25,2005 and that time in Japan they got online PSP games around the time we got ours and the Infered isn't only on racing I have played my friends Dynasty Warriors and I lost but that is a fughting/aracade game not a racing game and this is avalible on all multiplayer games so far and Sony is deciding to create a PSP to PS2 connection!like dowloading PS2 titles on PSP and visversa.Oh by the way I have 12 memory sticks most gifts from my Mom and Dad but I have 6 game sticks and 4 movie sticks and 1 music stick I seperated them so then I can have my Media and watch,Play and hear it too lol.

That's not possible because you see, when you load to the next stage, you are going to need 2 UMD discs to continue playing multiplayer because the PSP can only save it's data up until the next loading time. The PSP is not a computer you know being able to store memory of a game off of it's internal system.
Besides, Dynasty Warriors isn't a multiplayer game nor a fighting/arcade game (it's action/adventure), and the PSP haven't released infered sharing, unless you switch a UMD disc with another PSP for multiplayer games, but it still the same story nonetheless.

Oh that's nice, but you see, not all parents are willing to spend over 500 dollars for their son just to save data off their PSP. (It cost $199.99 for one 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro, $99.99 for one 512mb Memory Stick Duo Pro, and $69.99 for one 256mb Memory Stick Duo Pro.
