My favorite anime has to be Gundam SEED. It has everything, as far as I am concerned. Action. Drama. Romance. Even a small amount of comic relief. The characters are all awesome, and the Mobile Suits are cool.

The only anime I watch is Inuyasha and Gundam Seed and i want to watch Gundam Destiny [if YTV airs it after Gundam Seed is over]. I love both these anime cuz theres action, romance and drama [i guees] which i love

I know this was posted a long time ago, but anime is not short for animation.
Anime is the Japanese word for animation, and that doesn't make it the same as Amercian animation. Anime is Japanese, there isn't Chinese anime

Loveless is my current obsession! ^___^ Of coarse, I also love Gravitation, as it was one of my first anime, as well as Evangelion, Azumanga Daioh, and Cardcaptor Sakura (NOT cardcaptors! X_X)

Okay... there is so many diffrent kinds of anime, (including manga) So how could someone choose a fave. unless you have seen them all? My favourite animes would have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion, Inu Yasha, Dragonball, Dragonball Z (only the japanese version), Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, I'll just stop here 'cause I could go all night with this.
And by the way, Anime is any form of animation from Japan. If it comes from anywhere else, it's not anime, it may be inspired by anime, but it's not anime. Same with manga.

Right now, Fullmetal Alchemist. =P
It's just too good to not love. =D It's made me cry, laugh, and scream. It may be overrated, but it's great and possibly one of the best anime/mangas ever made.
Plus the music is extremley well done. =P *loves Asian Kung-fu generation*
