Hikari explained it for me! When we get deeper into the series you're gonna notice that Ed has a hard time remembering his own words. And the series is also quite sad in a way because Ed and Al have to deal with so many deaths.... I'm not going to go on or else I might reveal who's going to die. But it absolutely does make you stop and think. The second DVD touched me the most so far though. Hikari is right. Rose has a hard time believing that her boyfriend is really dead so she never stopped to think that Cornello couldn't accually bring him back. Edward made her realize that bringing humans back to life isn't that simple. That's one of the reasons why I like Ed more that ANY other anime character. I've seen up to episode 16 and I started buying the DVDs.

Al is the philosiphers stone let me explain...
There is a door where everybody who died goes when you see the other side you can preform alchemy without transmutation circles Ed saw the other side when he attached Al's soul to the armor but later Al becomes infused with the philosiphers stone when he goes to the other side of the door he no longer has to worry about his blood seal washing off his blood seal is inside the back of his armor this is how he sees he does not see through the eyes he sees through the armor also an event happens questioning Ed's insight on alchemy and the law of equivlent exchange no long exists

In what episode are you referring to? or is it in the intro? BTW What episode is YTV on?

As some people have mentioned the japaneese version is alot better. But its sometimes hard to keep up with what is said, because the subs quickly disapper.

FMA made me think alot, but no were near as much as Evangelion's last 2 episodes.

The theme of the series is all about equivalent change........and if you think about life it is true, a person cannot gain something unless they sacrifice something in return. this show gets you to see the things in life

Yup, it is a deep show. Especially for me, because although it has science (which I absolutely love! it kinda has religion in a way, if ya know what I mean. Or at least the laws of nature if you dont believe in monotheism..

A theme that this episode starts is the theme of death (of self and of loved ones) and that you need to move on from that. Rose was afraid to move on from her boyfriend's death and Ed was there to tell her that you can still stand up and move forwards - life goes on. He shares that message with a lot of people.

But you're going to notice, that Ed has problems listening to his own message.

FMA is the best anime dub ever. It's almost as good as the Japanese version. But I think the japanese language sounds way cooler lol. I get really emotional over every episode I saw (Episodes 1-6 lol) but episode 3 was so sad.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a very deep show.

There are alot of thign sthat make you stop and really think.

It`s one of the many thigns I love about it.

In the end of Episode Two, Edward tells Rose, who's on her knees something. I felt like crying, maybe I'm just too emotional but it really helped me alot. He said something like:

Get up. You have two strong legs to walk forward with.

That was really cool. It made me realize that I should forget the past and focus on the future. There are many people who are better off than me but there are also many who are worse off. I should be happy about my life. ^_^

Did anything in FMA make you guys realize something? ^_~
