EviDeCe: Her father bought her the record deal -.- not opportunity was taken by her. Her family is rich beyond belief. Also a lot of people hater because she is so arrogant that she believes she is good, when the ratings, comments, etc. say otherwise. Face it the song is terrible, and the only reason she is still going to be around is because her father will buy her another record deal if this one fails. Justin Beiber isn't even good, the only reason he is popular is his looks. Take taht away and he will be but a mere thought in the back of one's mind. Also I don't know if you've noticed, but the entire song by Rebecca Black is AUTOTUNED, AND IT STILL SOUNDS BAD. The problem is no that we know what we like and what we don't like, the problem is with the artists who market themsleves as good, but are terrible.

Also I hate the song, her voice is nasally even when it is using autotune.

Evidence - Maybe I'm just old, but when I was 13 years old I definitely did not party or "get down on Friday".
And no, everyone doesn't "hate" because they are jealous or disappointed with themselves, can't they just... I don't know, dislike the song because it isn't their preference? Maybe you should get YOUR facts straight before grouping everyone together.

Yea, kudos to her to becoming famous, she has respect for that. However it doesn't get passed the fact that it isn't the best song in the world.
Also, why does he donating the profits from her song have ANYTHING to do with her talent? So she has a good heart, that's great, but I thought this was a discussion about the song Friday and not her personal life.

"Haters" comes along with fame, you can't please everyone and the ones you can't please you have to ignore. So you can defend her all you want but the truth is the "haters" helped a lot in the process of making her famous. So by saying "leave her alone" is basically telling us to stop making her popular.

I personally do not like her voice or the song. She seems like she's 13 (I don't know her age), but I don't know what kind of 13 year olds "party" on a Friday... Besides the concept I took the time to actually see if she's a decent, I gave her a chance :0 .

... I listened to the acoustic version of "Friday", and it wasn't all that better. Maybe it's just me, but I do not like her voice whatsoever.

Okay, when I first saw the video, I laughed. But it was of how cheap the video was. (And also the unexplained reason why that rapper was in the video in the first place) But does this deserve to be called the worst song ever? No. Why?

1: This song isn't all that different from all the bland, Disney Channel, bubble-gum pop infecting the radio airwaves already.

2: There are artists who are far, FAR worse than her.(Soulja Boy, Nickelback, Brokencyde)
